LIMITED ONE YEAR WARRANTY Chaney Instrument Company warrants that all products it manufactures to be of good material and workmanship and to be free of defects if properly installed and operated for a period of one year from date of purchase. General Timer Description: This timer is a countdown/up timer. The max range is 9 hours, 59 minutes and 59 seconds. When the timer counts down to 0:00:00, the unit will start to alarm and count up to show how much time elapsed since the timer started sounding. The alarm will continuously sound at 75 db for 1 minute or until the user presses the START/STOP button.
2 · INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE 1. The timer is "always on" after the battery has been installed.
2. In sleep mode, the LCD will display 00:00:00.
3. Enter the desired time using the number keys. The time will enter from right to left on the display. Example: To set timer to 1 hour, 25 minutes, 30 seconds, enter 12530
4. START/STOP: Pressing the "START/STOP" button without entering a time causes the timer to start counting up. Pressing the "START/STOP" button after entering a time will cause the timer to start counting down from the time entered.
5. When the time reaches zero, the alarm will beep. The alarm will sound for 1 minute at 75dB. Press the "START/STOP" button to turn the alarm off.
6. CLEAR: Press the "CLEAR" button to clear the time displayed.
7. RECALL: Press the "RECALL" button to bring back the last time entered.
8. The timer can be set up to 9 hours, 59 minutes and 59 seconds.
When timer is set but NOT running: 1. Press the "START/STOP" button to begin counting down from the time entered. 2. Press the "CLEAR" button to reset the timer to zero
When the timer is running: 1. Press the "START/STOP" button to pause the countdown. Press again to resume
countdown.
General Timer Description: This is a countdown timer (this means that when the timer reaches 00:00 it will sound an alarm). The alarm will sound for 1 minute at 75 db.

Battery Requirements: 1 Alkaline AAA battery. Battery not included. Be sure to use good quality alkaline batteries. Generic brands and heavy duty batteries contain another chemical called carbon-zinc which causes the battery to provide its power at different rates than a plain alkaline battery. This may cause problems in the unit and can potentially damage the unit.
3 · WARNING
WARNING: Do not place unit on hot surface, over or grill. Do not immerse unit in water.
