Unit at a Glance

This section describes the monitor's physical features, buttons, and ports.

Buttons and Controls:

• 1. Menu: Press to enter the settings menu.
• 2. "+": Increase brightness/volume or navigate right.
• 3. "-": Decrease brightness/volume or navigate left.
• 4. Display: Switch display mode.

Ports and Features:

• 5. Screw Hole For Smart Cover
• 6. Dual Speakers: For audio output.
• 7. Mini HDMI Port: For audio and video signal transmission.
• 8. Full-Featured USB-C Port: For power supply, audio, and video signal transmission.
• 9. Full-Featured USB-C Port: For power supply, audio, and video signal transmission.
• 10. Micro USB Port: For compatible USB peripherals (e.g., keyboard, mouse).

⚠️ Note: Do NOT use the micro-USB port to connect a power supply. This can damage the portable monitor.

Adjustments:

• Volume Adjustment: Click the "+" button first. When the volume status bar appears, use "+/-" to adjust.
• Brightness Adjustment: Click the "-" button first. When the brightness status bar appears, use "+/-" to adjust.

Note: Volume and brightness cannot be adjusted simultaneously. Change one setting at a time.

Connect S1 With Devices

Note: When the brightness and volume are adjusted to above 80%, please connect your S1 with an external power supply. Not all laptops with USB-C ports support audio and video signal transmission; check your laptop's specifications.

1. Laptop (With USB-C)

Compatible with latest laptops with a full-featured USB-C port. Connect a laptop to the monitor using a USB-C to USB-C cable. Power can be supplied via the monitor's USB-A to USB-C power cable.

2. PC/Laptop (With HDMI Port)

Compatible with most PC/Laptops with an HDMI port. Connect the laptop to the monitor using a Mini HDMI to HDMI cable. Power the monitor using the USB-A to USB-C power cable.

3. Laptop (With Mini DisplayPort)

Compatible with laptop models with a mini DisplayPort. Connect the laptop using an HDMI to Mini DisplayPort adapter and a Mini HDMI to HDMI cable. Power the monitor using the USB-A to USB-C power cable.

4. iOS/Android Devices

Works with compatible Android devices from Samsung, Huawei, One Plus, Smartisan, OPPO. Connect Android devices using a USB-C to USB-C cable. Power the monitor using the USB-A to USB-C power cable. Connecting iOS devices requires a Lightning to HDMI adapter (not included) and a Mini HDMI to HDMI cable.

5. Other Devices

Compatible with PS3, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox, Switch, and other devices with a standard HDMI output. Connect using a Mini HDMI to HDMI cable. Power the monitor using the USB-A to USB-C power cable.

Setting the Portable Monitor S1

1. Press the menu button to enter the setting menu.
2. Press "+" / "-" to switch options. The selected item will be highlighted.
3. Press the menu button again to select the highlighted item (color changes from yellow to blue).
4. Press "+" / "-" to select the desired parameter.
5. Long press the menu button to return to the previous menu.

Function Introduction

Picture Settings:

Adjust backlight, brightness, contrast, and sharpness.

• Backlight: Adjusting range is from 0 to 100.
• Brightness: Adjusting range is from 0 to 100.
• Contrast: Adjusting range is from 0 to 100.
• Sharpness: Adjusting range is from 0 to 4.

Display Settings:

Rotate the image.

• 0°: Normal display.
• 180°: The image will be rotated 180°.

Color Settings:

Contains seven sub-functions for preference.

• Panel Uniformity: Adjusts screen uniformity based on the center brightness and color.
• Gamma: Modifies the relationship between display brightness and human eye perception of color. Options: OFF, 1.8, 2.0, 2.2, 2.4.
• Temperature: Six preset color modes (9300K, 7500K, 6500K, 5800K, sRGB (Normal), User). Color temperatures over 5000K are "cool colors"; lower temperatures (2700–3000K) are "warm colors". In User Mode, R, G, and B are user-configurable (0-100).
• Color Effect: Six modes (Standard, Game, Movie, Photo, Vivid, User). In User Mode, colors R, Y, G, C, B, M are user-configurable for hue and saturation (0-100).
• Demo: Testing setting (off by default).
• Hue: Adjusting range is from 0 to 100.
• Saturation: Adjusting range is from 0 to 100.

Advanced Settings:

• Aspect Ratio: Six modes (Full, 16:9, 4:3, 5:4, 1:1, User). Adjusts screen display ratio based on input signals.
• Overdrive: Enhances response speed. Adjust OD gain from 0 to 100.
• DDC/CI: Display Data Channel/Command Interface. Automatically matches OSD settings to the device.
• Ultra HDR: Ultra High Dynamic Range. Three modes (Off, Auto, HDR 2084).

Input Settings:

• Select input modes: Auto Select, Type-C, or HDMI.

Audio Settings

• Volume: Adjusting range is from 0 to 100.
• Mute: Turn on/off the volume.

Other Settings

• Reset: Reset to factory default settings.
• Language: Select OSD language (English, Simplified Chinese, Korean, Japanese, German, Dutch, Traditional Chinese).
• Rotate: Rotate the setting menu (0°, 90°, 180°, 270°).
• Information: Displays operating system version information.

FAQ

Q: Does my monitor have a built-in battery?

A: No, it doesn't. Please connect an external power supply.

Q: Why is my monitor not working?

A: Check if the cable is securely connected between the monitor and your device. Make sure the monitor connects an external power supply.

Q: Why is my monitor saying no signal when my Type-C laptop/phone is connected with the monitor?

A: Please make sure your device has at least one full-featured Type-C port. If the Type-C ports on your device are only for charging, it will not work with this monitor. For more information, you can check the list of specific device models that are currently supported.

Q: Does my monitor support iPhone?

A: Yes. A Lightning adapter is required to connect your iPhone.

1-Year Worry-Free Screen Protection

This is a special service for the S1. Once registered and activated successfully, you get one chance to get the screen replaced if it is broken accidentally (non-artificially) within 1 year.
