Operating System | Microsoft Windows® 2000/XP/ Vista / Win7 |
Memory | 512 MB RAM or higher |
Monitor | VGA (1024 x 768) |
Drive | CD-ROM |
Input device | Mouse or compatible |
Interface | USB for data transmission |
Software Installation
Follow these steps to install the interface software:
- Insert the provided CD disk into the CD-ROM drive.
- Double-click the executable file (e.g., "XXX_VX.XX.exe", where X can be 0-9 or blank, indicating the software version).
- Follow the on-screen prompts in the pop-up windows to complete the program setup process.
Main Screen Overview
The main screen of the interface software displays real-time measurement data and system status.
Main Display Screen: This area shows the primary measurement results, including values, units, and status indicators like "NG" (Not Good) or "GOOD". It also displays measurement parameters such as voltage (V), resistance (Ω, MΩ, GΩ, TΩ), and time.
Secondary Display Screen: This screen provides a more detailed view of all recorded measurement data, including measurement number, time, value, unit, function, and remarks.
Connection Indicator: A blinking indicator (often represented by a USB symbol ?) signifies that the measurement meter is successfully connected to the PC via USB and is ready to transmit data.
Using the Program
Once the meter is connected, the software automatically begins taking measurements. The primary display shows the current measurement, while the secondary display logs all data.
Data Table and Controls
The data table lists measurement details. Key functions are available via buttons or controls:
Measurement No. | Time | Value | Unit | Function | Remark |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
1 | 00:00:00 | 1.234 | V |
Function Controls:
- Print Data: [Print icon] or text label to print the current measurement data.
- Open Files: [Folder icon] or text label to open previously saved data files in formats like *.txt, *.xls, or *.xml.
- Save Data: [Save icon] or text label to save the current measurement data in formats like *.txt, *.xls, or *.xml.
- Delete Data: [Trash icon] or text label to clear the current data and create a new data.
Measurement Settings:
- Repeat: When checked (✔️), the software displays every measurement taken at the set interval. When unchecked, the secondary display only shows measurement results that differ from the last recorded value, optimizing data logging for significant changes.
- Sampling Interval: This setting allows users to define the time interval (e.g., in seconds 'S') between consecutive measurements.
