Network Topology

This diagram illustrates the typical setup for the VIGI NVR. The NVR connects to a TP-Link Switch via an Ethernet cable (LAN Port). Cameras (VIGI PoE Camera) and other devices like computers and phones can also connect to the switch. The NVR features ports for Power Supply, USB (for mouse, keyboard, or mobile hard disk connection), HDMI and VGA for video output, eSATA for an eSATA device, and Audio IN/OUT for two-way audio. A 4 TB HDD is shown preinstalled for 24/7 video recording, though the HDD is not included with the unit.

Connections:

1. Power Supply: Connects to the power adapter.
2. USB Ports: Two USB 2.0 ports for connecting a mouse, keyboard, or mobile hard disk.
3. Video Output Ports: HDMI and VGA ports for connecting monitors.
4. eSATA Interface: For connecting an eSATA device.

The NVR has a rectangular form factor. The front view shows several ports and status LEDs. The rear view details the grounding terminal, eSATA port, audio ports, power supply port, USB ports, HDMI port, VGA port, and RJ45 Ethernet port. The top view shows the 2x SATA interfaces. The overall dimensions are approximately 330 mm (width) x 285 mm (depth) x 45 mm (height).
