Quick Start Guide

Welcome to your new Roku Select Series HD TV. This guide will help you set up and start enjoying your TV quickly and easily.

What You Need

  • Phillips head screwdriver
  • Laptop or mobile phone for activation
  • Wireless internet connection

Step 1: Set up your TV

Follow these steps to physically set up your TV.

A. Prepare a surface

Put a soft covering, like a blanket, down onto a flat surface. Place the TV face down on the covering.

B. Attach the stands

Use a Phillips head screwdriver and the included stand screws to attach the TV stands to the bottom of the TV. Note: Stands are labeled "L" for left and "R" for right, corresponding to the slots when the TV is face down.

C. Set TV upright

Carefully place your TV upright on a stable, flat surface.

Step 2: Plug TV in and pair remote

Connect your TV to power and ensure your remote is ready.

A. Connect your TV

Plug your TV into a power outlet. The TV should turn on automatically. If it does not, press the power button on the TV or remote.

B. Pair your remote

Pull out the battery tab on the back of your Roku Voice Remote. It will pair to your TV automatically.

Get to know your TV

Understand the connections available on the back of your TV:

Video connections:

  • HDMI®: Connect game consoles, DVD players, and other video sources.
  • Antenna/Cable: Connect a digital antenna or cable connection.

Audio connections:

  • HDMI ARC: Connect AV receivers or soundbars (recommended for enhanced audio).
  • Optical (S/PDIF): Connect AV receivers or soundbars.

Other connections:

  • USB: Connect a flash drive for media playback.

Step 3: Activate your TV

Connect your TV to the internet and complete the activation process.

Follow the on-screen instructions on your TV. Activate your TV by using your computer or smartphone to link a Roku account.

You'll need an internet connection to set up your TV, stream your favorite channels, and receive automatic software updates.

Having trouble pairing your remote?

If you don't see a remote pairing alert on your TV screen, press and hold the home ? and back arrow buttons for 5 seconds.
