Expandable Battery
The capacity of the E2000 LFP can be expanded by connecting additional Pecron 24V battery modules using a Pecron battery expansion cable. Important: Only use Pecron-approved battery modules to avoid damaging the unit.
The battery expansion port is located on the side of the unit and is designed for DC 24V expansion.
Packing List
The package typically includes:
- Pecron E2000 LFP unit *1
- AC Charger *1 (An extra can be purchased separately)
- MC4 Solar Charging Cable (LSMC4-5GX16)*2
- Car Charging Cable *1
Recharge Time
Recharge times vary depending on the charging method:
- Wall Charger: Around 3.5~4 Hours (Standard), Around 1.5~2 Hours (with 2 adapters).
- Electric Generator: Around 3.5~4 Hours (Standard), Around 1.5~2 Hours (with 2 adapters).
- Car Charger: Around 20 Hours.
Solar Charge Time
The E2000 LFP features a built-in MPPT charge controller supporting 32V~95V PV charging up to 1200W. Solar charging time depends on weather conditions and the solar panel configuration.
Recommended Solar Panel Configurations:
- 1x Pecron 100W / 18V: Charges via the DC 5521 port (12V~18V, 100W maximum). The Open Circuit Voltage (VOC) of the solar panel must be less than 25V.
- 1x Pecron 200W / 36V: Charges via one of the GX16MF-5 ports (32V~95V, 600W maximum). The VOC must be less than 95V.
- 2x Pecron 200W / 36V (400W total): Can be wired in series or parallel. For series connection, the total voltage should not exceed 95V VOC. For parallel connection, ensure proper MC4 connectors are used.
- 3x Pecron 200W / 36V (600W total): Can be wired in parallel. DO NOT wire three 36V panels in series, as this will exceed the 95V VOC limit and damage the unit.
- 4x Pecron 200W / 36V (800W total): Can be wired in parallel. DO NOT wire four 36V panels in series, as this will exceed the 95V VOC limit and damage the unit.
- 6x Pecron 200W / 36V (1200W total): Can be wired in parallel using Y-branch MC4 cables.
Important Notes for Solar Charging:
- The PV(GX16MF-5) ports operate within a 32V~95V Open Circuit voltage range. Exceeding 95V will damage the machine.
- When connecting multiple panels in series, ensure the total voltage remains within the specified limits.
- For any questions regarding solar charging, please contact support@pecron.com.
