- Acts as a BACnet Broadcast Management Device (BBMD) for BACnet/IP networks.
- Supports Foreign Device Registration (FDR) and DHCP IP addressing.
- Includes built-in network diagnostic capabilities for efficient troubleshooting.
- Compatible with the i-Vu® system, version 9.0 and later.
Key Features and Specifications
The TV-ISO-E2 offers robust connectivity options:
- Primary Port: 10/100 BaseT Ethernet for BACnet/IP, BACnet/IPv6, BACnet/Ethernet, and BACnet/SC.
- Isolated Port: 10/100 BaseT Ethernet for BACnet/IP, providing isolated network communication.
- Port S1 & S2: High-speed EIA-485 for BACnet/MSTP communication, supporting baud rates from 9600 to 115200 bps.
- Service Port: USB 2.0 host for configuration and troubleshooting via a local connection.
The device is powered by a 24 VAC +/- 10% or 24 VDC +/- 10% source, with a power consumption of 50 VA or 18 W respectively. It operates within an environmental range of -40 to 158°F (-40 to 70°C) and 10-95% relative humidity, non-condensing.
Installation and Mounting
The TV-ISO-E2 can be mounted using either a 35mm DIN rail or screw mounting. For high temperature and high humidity environments, screw mounting is recommended.
DIN Rail Mount: Hook the device onto the DIN rail and push until it clicks into place.
Screw Mount: Use #6 screws through the mounting holes, ensuring a torque of no more than 8 in.lbs.
Wiring and Power
WARNING: Do not apply line voltage to the device's ports and terminals. The TV-ISO-E2 is powered by a Class 2 power source.
Follow these steps for wiring:
- Remove power from the power supply.
- Connect the power supply wires to the red screw terminal connector labeled 24 Vac/Vdc (+/-).
- Ensure a negative terminal from the power supply is connected to earth ground with an 18 AWG or larger wire, not exceeding 12 inches.
- Apply power and verify the voltage is within the 20.4 to 28.8 Vac or 21.6 to 28.8 Vdc range.
- Insert the terminal connector into the device and verify the POWER LED is illuminated.
