VTech® toys are electrical and electronic equipment (EEE) which, at the end of their life, should be collected selectively for recycling. To preserve the environment, VTech® recommends that you remove used batteries and dispose of them in designated containers, and then dispose of the toy at the end of its life in collection points provided in stores or in your community.
The crossed-out wheeled bin symbol on products and batteries indicates that they should not be disposed of with household waste, as they contain substances that can be harmful to the environment and health. When symbols Hg, Cd, or Pb are indicated, it means the battery contains more than the specified value of mercury (Hg), cadmium (Cd), or lead (Pb) in Directive 2006/66/CE on batteries and accumulators. The solid bar under the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol indicates that the product was placed on the market after August 13, 2005. Help protect the environment by sorting your used products and batteries.
