NUX Amp Academy Stomp (NMA-3AAP)

Introduction

The NUX Amp Academy Stomp (NMA-3AAP) is a versatile digital amplifier simulator and multi-effects processor. It builds upon NUX's renowned Verdugo series Amp Academy stompbox, enhanced with three footswitches from the Monarch series. This device utilizes the TSAC-4K White-Box Algorithm Modeling for realistic amp tones and features a stereo CYBER IR™ Engine. It is designed to provide guitarists with high-quality sound and extensive tone-shaping capabilities, suitable for various genres and live performances.

Independent Pre-amp and Power-amp simulations.

Intuitive operation with a 7.2 cm color LCD display.
27 Presets with 3 Scenes each, and 60 IR slots.
USB-C connectivity for audio streaming, MIDI, and firmware updates.
External control options via Expression Pedal or NMP-2 Lite footswitch.
Robust, extruded aluminum housing for durability.
Functions as a USB Audio Interface for recording.

The Amp Academy Stomp offers comprehensive connectivity, including:

INPUT for guitar signal.
SEND/RETURN for external effects pedals.
Stereo OUTPUT L & R (balanced TRS).
AUX IN for connecting music players.
PHONES output for silent practice.
MIDI IN/OUT (3.5mm mini-jack) for external MIDI control.
EXP/CTRL FS for expression pedal or additional footswitch.
DC 9V power input.

Operation is managed via the HOME/MENU and EDIT encoders, along with dedicated footswitches. Software control is available through the PC Editor and a mobile app (iOS/Android).
