Product Components
The Braun trimmer system includes various attachments for different grooming needs:
- 1a Trimmer Head: The main cutting head for trimming beards and hair.
- 1b Detail Trimmer Head: For precise shaping and detailing.
- 1c Mini Foil Shaver Head: For finishing and achieving a clean shave in small areas.
- 1d Ear & Nose Trimmer Head: Specifically designed for safe and hygienic trimming of ear and nose hair.
- 1e Body Trimmer Head: For trimming body hair, recommended for use with a comb attachment in delicate areas.
- 2 Length Selector: A dial or mechanism to adjust the cutting length, typically ranging from 0.5 mm to 20 mm.
- 3 On/Off Button: The power control for the device.
- 4 Charging Indicator: An LED light indicating charging status (e.g., green for charging/battery charged).
- 5 Power Socket: Port for connecting the charging cable.
- 6 Power Supply: The AC adapter for charging the device.
- 7 Precision Beard Comb: Attaches to the trimmer head for beard trimming at lengths from 0.5 mm to 10 mm.

Getting Started & Charging
Charging the Device:
- Connect the power supply (6) to the power socket (5) on the trimmer.
- Plug the power supply into an electrical outlet.
- The charging indicator (4) will show the charging status. A full charge typically takes 8 hours.
- The device can be used while charging, but it is recommended to unplug it after charging is complete.
Attaching/Detaching Components:
- To attach trimmer heads (1a-1e) or combs (7-9), align them with the device and push until they click into place.
- To detach, press the release button (if applicable) or pull the component away from the device.
Usage Instructions
General Trimming:
- Select the desired trimmer head and comb attachment for your grooming needs.
- Use the length selector (2) to set the cutting length.
- Turn the device on using the On/Off button (3).
- Move the trimmer against the direction of hair growth for best results.
Specific Uses:
- Beard Trimming: Use the trimmer head (1a) with the precision beard comb (7) for lengths 0.5-10 mm.
- Hair Trimming: Use the trimmer head (1a) with the precision hair comb (8) for lengths 10.5-20 mm.
- Detail Trimming: Use the detail trimmer head (1b) for precise shaping.
- Shaving: Use the mini foil shaver head (1c) for finishing.
- Ear & Nose: Use the ear & nose trimmer head (1d) carefully, avoiding insertion beyond 5 mm into the nostril or ear canal.
- Body Grooming: Use the body trimmer head (1e), preferably with a comb attachment, for delicate areas.
- Eyebrow Grooming: Use the eyebrow comb (9) for shaping eyebrows.
Important Usage Notes:
- Avoid using the trimmer without a comb attachment for body grooming in delicate areas.
- Do not insert the ear & nose trimmer head more than 5 mm into the nose or ear.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Cleaning:
- The trimmer head can be rinsed under running water. Ensure the device is turned off and unplugged.
- Some models may be fully washable. Check the device for water-resistance markings.
- After rinsing, shake off excess water and allow the trimmer head to air dry completely before reattaching or storing.
- Keep the power supply dry and away from water.
Maintenance:
- To maintain optimal performance, apply a drop of light machine oil (not included) to the trimmer blades regularly.
- Ensure the device is not exposed to temperatures above 50°C (122°F) for extended periods.

Battery Removal:
