This device is designed for domestic indoor use only. Follow the safety instructions in the manual. Do not use or store the device in dusty/dirty areas, hot areas, or areas exposed to moisture. Do not drop, disassemble, open, crash, bend, or deform the product or any of its parts. Avoid using the product with wet hands. Do not use water, abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, solvents, or metal objects for cleaning; use an anti-static cloth. Do not attempt to clean connectors. Do not disassemble the product yourself. All repairs must be performed by qualified personnel. Prevent any liquid from entering the product. Do not leave the battery near a heat source. Do not insert unauthorized objects. Do not short circuit. Do not touch battery terminals. Do not place heavy objects on the product. Avoid excessive shock or vibration. The unit must not be exposed to dripping or splashing water. Do not place liquid-filled objects on the device. Any evidence of tampering will void the Limited Warranty.

3. Installation

Do not install or connect a damaged device. Follow installation instructions carefully. Do not install or use in temperatures below 15°C or in places exposed to the elements. Do not place the product in direct sunlight or near heat sources. Install in a dry, dust-protected place. Do not place in areas subject to splashing water or near flame sources.

4. Disposal

5. Cables

⚠️ CAUTION: Cables and Cords. Arrange cables to prevent tripping or entanglement hazards. Keep cables out of reach of children and pets. Do not let children play with cables. Unplug the device if it emits burning odor or smoke. Excessive moisture can cause electric shock. Ensure the cord is not in contact with hot objects.

1. Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs)

⚠️ WARNING: Use of game controllers, keyboards, mice, or other electronic input devices may be linked to serious injuries or disorders.

Playing video games, like many activities, can cause discomfort in hands, arms, shoulders, neck, or other body parts. If you experience persistent or recurring discomfort, pain, throbbing, aching, tingling, numbness, burning sensation, or stiffness, DO NOT IGNORE THESE WARNING SIGNS. Promptly see a qualified health professional, even if symptoms occur when not playing. These symptoms can be associated with painful and sometimes permanently disabling injuries or disorders of nerves, muscles, tendons, blood vessels, and other body parts. These include carpal tunnel syndrome, tendinitis, tenosynovitis, and vibration syndromes. Many factors may be linked to their occurrence, including medical conditions, stress, overall health, and body positioning during activities. Some studies suggest activity duration is a factor.

Guidelines to reduce risk of MSDs:

• Position yourself comfortably, avoiding awkward postures.
• Keep hands, fingers, and other body parts relaxed.
• Take regular breaks.
• Develop a healthy lifestyle.

About the Steelplay® Wired Controller

How to Use

To Start Using Your Controller:

Plug the wired controller's USB cable into the USB port of the Switch™ Dock. The console will automatically recognize and pair the controller, allowing you to start playing.

To Upgrade the Firmware:

In some instances, you may need to update the firmware of your Steelplay® Wired Controller following console firmware upgrades. The update must be done from a computer connected to the Internet. Please visit www.steel-play.com for instructions.

Terms of Warranty

The warranty period is 2 years from the date of purchase with proof of purchase. Operating instructions must be followed. The warranty excludes damages associated with battery leakage, product defacement, misuse, abuse, neglect, accidents, destruction, alteration of serial numbers, improper electrical voltages or currents, unauthorized repairs or modifications, use of non-Steelplay® parts, or damage caused by accident, fire, floods, lightning, or acts of God. Steelplay® obligations are limited to repair or replacement at their option. To obtain warranty service, present the product and proof of purchase to an authorized Steelplay® Technical Support Center, with transportation charges prepaid. This warranty is in lieu of all other expressed warranties. Implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to the duration of this written warranty. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts. Steelplay® is not liable for special or consequential damages. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

Disposal of Waste Batteries and Electrical and Electronic Equipment

The WEEE symbol ♻️ on the product or instructions indicates that your electrical and electronic equipment should be disposed of separately from household waste at the end of its life. Separate collection systems for recycling exist in the EU. For more information, contact your local municipal household waste disposal service or retailer. These symbols are valid within the European Union. For disposal outside the EU, comply with applicable national legislation. Proper disposal helps conserve natural resources and prevent negative environmental and health effects.
