Safety Instructions

• Before use, check the voltage on the device label and connect only to sockets matching the device's voltage.
• If the power cord is damaged, have it replaced by a qualified professional.
• Do not place the heater directly under a socket.

• Do not operate the device with wet hands.
• Do not use the device on or near hot surfaces.
• Do not use the device with a damaged power cord.
• Before cleaning, disconnect the device from the power outlet and allow it to cool down completely.
• Do not use abrasive cleaning agents for cleaning.
• Use only accessories that are expressly approved by the manufacturer for this purpose.
• Children older than 8 years, as well as persons with mental, sensory, and physical disabilities, may use the device only if they have been thoroughly informed about the functions and safety precautions by a supervising person responsible for them, and if they understand the associated risks.
• Ensure that children do not play with the appliance.

Wall Mounting

Follow these steps to mount the heater on the wall:

1. Remove the 4 metal wall brackets and 4 screws from the device. Attach these brackets to the back of the device.
2. Mark the positions for four holes on the wall that need to be drilled. Use a drill to create the holes. Ensure the distance between each hole corresponds to the round openings on the brackets on the back of the heater.
3. Insert the plastic wall plugs into the holes.
4. Insert the metal screws into the wall plugs.
5. Lift the heater, align the four round holes on the rear brackets with the four screws on the wall, and slide the screws from position A to position B with a slight movement of the heater.

Operation

1. Plug the device into the power socket.
2. Turn on the main switch. A beep will sound. The large display will light up, showing [--], the WiFi icon [wifi-symbol] will flash, and the heater will enter standby mode.
3. Press the ON/OFF button on the display. The preset temperature of 25 °C will be shown. The device starts heating when the room temperature drops below 25 °C. In this case, the heating symbol [heat-symbol] will light up. The device stops heating once the room temperature reaches or exceeds 25 °C.
4. Press the [up-arrow] or [down-arrow] buttons to set the temperature. Each press increases or decreases the temperature by 1 °C. The temperature can be regulated from 5 to 50 °C. The set temperature flashes on the display for 5 seconds and is then confirmed.
5. The device starts heating when the set temperature is higher than the room temperature. The heater stops heating when the room temperature reaches or exceeds the set temperature.
6. Press the [timer-symbol] button until the timer mode symbol [timer-symbol] lights up. You can now set the timer using the [up-arrow] or [down-arrow] buttons. Each press increases or decreases the time by 1 hour. The time can be set from 0-24 hours. The set time flashes on the display for 5 seconds and is then saved.
7. Press and hold the [wifi-symbol] button to disconnect from WiFi or switch if the display is flashing.

Device Control via Smartphone

If you integrate your Klarstein appliance into your home WLAN, you can conveniently control it via the associated Klarstein app. The app not only allows you to control the appliance remotely via your smartphone but also provides access to recipes and further information.

To connect your smartphone to the Klarstein device, follow these steps:

1. First, download the Klarstein app by scanning the QR code (see below) using your smartphone, or download it directly from the App Store or Google Play.
2. Ensure your smartphone is connected to the same WiFi network to which your Klarstein device is to be connected.
3. Open the Klarstein app.
4. Log in with your account. If you do not have an account yet, register in the Klarstein app.
5. (Follow the instructions in the app)

Downloading the App

Use your mobile phone's scanning function to scan the QR code and save the app to your smartphone.

Note: Further instructions for using the app and assistance on how to connect to your device are provided by the app upon first opening.

QR codes are provided for iOS and Android app downloads.

Troubleshooting Connection

If your Klarstein device cannot be found in the WLAN, check the following:

• The device is not plugged in. Ensure your device is connected to the power supply.
• The device is not in pairing mode. Ensure the WiFi indicator (LED) on the device's control panel is flashing as described in your device's "Reset WiFi Settings" instructions (instructions are usually found in the "Connecting the Device" section).
• The WiFi access point is not operating on the 2.4 GHz frequency. Ensure your access point operates in the 2.4 GHz band and that you have your own SSID in the 2.4 GHz band. If you are unsure about your access point's operating band, contact your internet provider.
• Important: Please note that if your WiFi router is dual-band – i.e., it operates in both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands – you must separate the SSIDs for each band and use the 2.4 GHz SSID for connection.
• Check your WiFi network's firewall settings. Your WiFi network's firewall settings may prevent the Klarstein App from configuring WiFi settings on your smart device. Please ensure you are not using a public WiFi network, e.g., at airports, dormitories, companies, etc.
• Mismatched login credentials on your smartphone and in the app. Ensure that the WiFi login details entered in the Klarstein app match the details your smartphone is connected to.

Cleaning and Care

Before cleaning, turn off the heater and let it cool down. Disconnect the device from the power supply. The exterior can be wiped with a soft, damp cloth and then dried. Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or furniture polish, as they may damage the surface.

To detach the heater from the wall, simply open the screw cap and unscrew the screws. If you will not be using the heater for a short period, unplug it from the socket. If you will not be using the device for a longer period, you can remove it from the wall or cover it.

Troubleshooting

If your heater is not working, follow these instructions:

• Ensure that the main switch or fuse is functioning correctly.
• Ensure that the heater is plugged in and the socket is functioning correctly.
• If the ON/OFF switch does not light up in the ON position, contact a qualified technician.

Note: If the problem with the heater persists, do not attempt to open or repair it yourself. This may lead to loss of warranty and damage to the device or injury. Contact the dealer.
