Getting Started: Unpacking and Stand Attachment
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for setting up your Philips Television, 8528 series.
Step 1: Unpack and Prepare
Carefully unpack the television and its accessories. Place the TV screen-down on a soft, clean surface, such as a blanket or cushion, to prevent scratches.

Step 2: Attach the Stand
For 50"/55" models:
- Identify the left (L) and right (R) stand parts.
- Attach the stand parts to the bottom of the TV using the provided screws.

For 65" models:
- Identify the left (L) and right (R) stand parts.
- Attach the stand parts to the bottom of the TV using the provided screws.

Ensure you use the correct screws (typically four screws per stand) as indicated in the diagrams.

Wall Mounting Preparation
If you plan to wall mount your TV, refer to the following dimensions:
- 50"/55" TV: Wall mount dimensions (x, y) are 200x300mm. Compatible screws are M6 with a length of 10mm to 16mm.
- 65" TV: Wall mount dimensions (x, y) are 300x300mm. Compatible screws are M6 with a length of 12mm to 20mm.

The screen sizes are approximately 126 cm (50"), 139 cm (55"), and 164 cm (65").
Initial Setup and Remote Control
Step 1: Remote Control Setup
Insert two AAA 1.5V batteries [battery] into the remote control [remote].

Step 2: Power On and Pairing
Turn on the TV. Follow the on-screen instructions. You may need to point the remote at the TV and press the OK button to pair it.

Step 3: Accessing Help and Google Assistant

Step 4: Language Selection
The initial setup may prompt you to select a language. Supported languages include English, Bahasa Malaysia, Bahasa Indonesia, Deutsch, Français, Português, ภาษาไทย, Tiếng Việt, 简体中文, and العربية.
Connecting Devices
Connect your external devices and network using the available ports on the back of the TV.
- USB 2: For [HDD REC] functionality.
- HDMI 4: Connect to external devices like Blu-ray players or game consoles.
- DIGITAL AUDIO OUT (OPTICAL/COAXIAL): Connect to soundbars or audio receivers.
- TV ANTENNA: Connect your aerial or cable TV signal.
- HDMI 1, HDMI 2 (ARC/eARC), HDMI 3: Connect various devices. HDMI 2 supports Audio Return Channel (ARC/eARC) for audio output to soundbars.
- USB 1: For media playback or accessories.
- NETWORK: Connect to your home network via Ethernet cable for internet access.

Placement and Safety Information
