This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the safe operation, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your portable dishwasher. Please read all safety messages carefully and obey all safety messages.

Safety First

Your safety and the safety of others are very important. This manual contains important safety messages that will help you understand potential hazards. Always read and obey all safety messages. These messages are identified by the safety alert symbol and either the word "DANGER" or "WARNING." These words mean:

All safety messages will tell you what the potential hazard is, how to reduce the chance of injury, and what can happen if the instructions are not followed.

Important Safety Instructions

When using your dishwasher, follow basic precautions, including:

SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS

Grounding Instructions

For a grounded, cord-connected dishwasher: The dishwasher must be grounded. In the event of malfunction or breakdown, grounding will reduce the risk of electric shock by providing a path of least resistance for electric current. The dishwasher is equipped with a cord having an equipment-grounding conductor and a grounding plug. The plug must be plugged into an appropriate outlet that is installed and grounded in accordance with all local codes and ordinances. Check with a qualified electrician or service representative if you are in doubt whether the dishwasher is properly grounded. Do not modify the plug provided with the dishwasher; if it will not fit the outlet, have a proper outlet installed by a qualified electrician.

WARNING: Improper connection of the equipment-grounding conductor can result in a risk of electric shock.

For a permanently connected dishwasher: The dishwasher must be connected to a grounded metal, permanent wiring system, or an equipment-grounding conductor must be run with the circuit conductors and connected to the equipment-grounding terminal or lead on the dishwasher.

SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS

WARNING: Tip Over Hazard. Do not use dishwasher until completely installed. Do not push down on open door. Doing so can result in serious injury or cuts.

You need to: Slowly open dishwasher door while someone grasps the rear of the dishwasher. Remove shipping materials and drain hose. Close dishwasher door until latched. NOTE: Each dishwasher is tested at the factory and may contain some residual water in the tub as a result of the test. Observe all governing codes and ordinances. Prepare dishwasher and faucet as specified in these instructions. Have everything you need to properly install dishwasher. The dishwasher must be installed to meet all electrical and plumbing national and local codes and ordinances.

Dishwasher Maintenance and Care

WARNING: Tip Over Hazard. Do not use dishwasher until completely installed. Do not push down on open door. Doing so can result in serious injury or cuts.

Cleaning the Exterior: Clean the exterior with a soft, damp cloth and mild detergent. For stainless steel exteriors, use a stainless steel cleaner like affresh®+ Stainless Steel Cleaner. Avoid abrasive cleaning products.

Cleaning and Maintaining the Interior: Detergents may leave white spots or residue. Use a dishwasher cleaning product like affresh®+ Dishwasher Cleaner monthly to remove residue and maintain performance. Alternatively, use a vinegar rinse (2 cups/500 mL white vinegar in a glass or dishwasher-safe cup on the bottom rack, run a full cycle with air-dry or energy-saving dry option, no detergent). Note: High-quality, premeasured detergent tablets or packs and rinse aid are recommended for daily care.

To Reduce Risk of Property Damage During Vacation or Extended Time Without Use: When not using the dishwasher during summer months, turn off the water and power supply. Protect water supply lines against freezing. Freezing can cause damage not covered by warranty.

Troubleshooting: The brand website listed on the Quick Start Guide has detailed troubleshooting information.

Operating Instructions

ADD DETERGENT: Use high-quality, premeasured tablets and packs for improved performance. These are proven to be more effective than powder, liquid, or gel detergents at reducing filming. Always place premeasured detergents in the main compartment and close the lid. Use automatic dishwasher detergent only. Add detergent just before starting a cycle. Store detergent in a cool, dry place.

ADD RINSE AID: Your dishwasher is designed to use rinse aid for good drying performance. Rinse aid prevents water from forming droplets that can dry as spots or streaks, and improves drying by allowing water to drain off dishes after the final rinse. Check the rinse aid indicator with the door down. Add rinse aid when the indicator drops to "Add" level.

To add rinse aid to a sliding lid-style dispenser, open the lid by gently pushing in the center and pulling up on the edge. Pour rinse aid into the opening until the indicator is at "Full." Close the dispenser by pushing down gently on the lid. If experiencing poor drying performance, try a higher setting on the rinse aid adjuster.

ENERGY EFFICIENCY: Energy efficiency is gained by extending cycle time and reducing wattage and water used. Efficient dishwashers run longer to save water and energy.

FILTRATION SYSTEM (On some models): The Clean Water Wash system continuously removes food particles from the wash water for excellent performance. The filter system consists of an upper filter assembly and a lower filter. Ensure filters are properly installed.

RECOMMENDED DETERGENT: Due to restrictions on phosphorus in detergents, it is recommended to use tablets and packs for convenience and improved performance.

TOP RACK ADJUSTER (On some models): You can raise or lower the top rack to fit tall items. Press both rack adjuster thumb levers and lift or slide the rack to the desired position. Ensure the top rack is level.
