Function Buttons

The instrument has several function buttons:

Measurements Instruction

Measure AC/DC Voltage

  1. Press the [Voltage symbol] button to enter voltage test, short press to choose AC or DC Voltage range. The vice display will show frequency when on AC mode; the vice display will show regular temperature when on DC mode.
  2. Touch the probes to the correct test points of the circuit to measure the voltage.
  3. Read the measured voltage on the display.

Measure Resistance

  1. Press the [Resistance symbol] button once to switch to resistance range.
  2. Use the probe pin to contact two sides of the resistance.
  3. Read the measured resistance on the display.

Test for Continuity

  1. Press the [Continuity symbol] button three times to enter continuity range.
  2. Use the probe pin to contact two sides of the circuit.
  3. The built-in beeper will beep when the resistance is lower than 50Ω, which indicates a short circuit.

Test Diodes

  1. Press the [Diode symbol] button twice to enter diode range.
  2. Contact the red pin with the positive pole and the black lead pin with the negative pole of the diode.
  3. Read the forward bias voltage value on the display.

Measure Capacitance

  1. Press the [Capacitance symbol] button four times to enter capacitance range.
  2. Contact the red pin with the positive pole and the black lead pin with the negative pole of the diode.
  3. Read the measured capacitance value on the display once the reading is stable.

Measure Frequency and Duty Cycle

  1. Press the [Frequency symbol] button to enter frequency range (low voltage and high frequency); the vice display will show duty cycle.
  2. Touch the probes to the desired test points.
  3. Read the measured frequency value on the display and the duty cycle value at the vice display.

Test NCV (Non-Contact Voltage)

  1. Long press the [NCV symbol] button for 2s to enter NCV Mode; the vice display will show regular temperature.
  2. Hold the product and move it around; the built-in beeper will beep when the inner sensor detects AC voltage nearby. The stronger the voltage is, the quicker the beeper beeps.

Voice Recognition

This product has a Voice Recognition function. The operation is as follows:

For example, when you want to test resistance:

  1. Firstly, press the voice recognition button to enter the mode. The display will show "?" flickeringly, and the beeper will beep once for a long time.
  2. Speak "Hey, multimeter" to turn the voice recognition mode on. The display will show "?" long-term, and the beeper will shortly beep twice.
  3. Speak "resistance mode" to enter resistance test mode.
  4. Use the probe pin to contact two sides of the resistance.
  5. Read the measured resistance on the display.
  6. Voice recognition will close if there is no operation for 2 minutes. Please return from step 1 if you want to restart.
