Tape Roll Installation
- Depress the cover (A) and lift to open it.
- Place the tape roll onto the hub with the adhesive side facing outwards and downwards. Insert the tab (B) into the slot on the tape core. Rotate the roll slightly until the tab securely snaps into place.
- Press and hold the trigger while threading the tape leader/liner. Position the end of the leader at point (C).
- Release the trigger and rotate the rewind hub (D) counterclockwise to tighten the liner. Close the cover.
Operation
To Start Application
- Place the applying roller (E) on the surface, depress the trigger, and pull the dispenser.
Note: A brief delay may occur before adhesive is applied when starting a new application.
To End Application
- Keep the roller on the surface, release the trigger, and pull the dispenser to break the adhesive.
Liner Tension Adjustment
- Press down the black center tension adjuster (G). Turn it clockwise (H) to tighten the liner tension, or turn it (I) to loosen.
Adapter Kit for 1/4" Tape (Optional)
- Replace the original roller (A) with the 1/4" wide roller from the kit and secure it with a screw. Place the drive gear spacer (B) from the kit onto the tape core reel.
- Remove the rewind hub (C), spring retainer (E), and spring (F).
- Assemble the outer rewind disk (D), spring (F), spring retainer (E), and inner rewind disk (G). Position the inner rewind disk (G) and outer rewind disk (D) as illustrated.
