asTech All-In-One Quick Start Guide
This guide provides step-by-step instructions to set up and begin using the asTech All-In-One diagnostic system.
1. Connect Tablet to Wi-Fi
Ensure your tablet is connected to a stable Wi-Fi network.
? On the device home screen, navigate to Settings > Network & Internet > Wi-Fi. Slide the Wi-Fi switch to the ON position.
Note: Ensure your asTech app and VCI Link have the most recent software updates installed.
2. Connect Carside Device (VCI Link)
Connect the VCI Link device to the vehicle and establish a network connection.
The VCI Link device screen will display the connection status. It shows the following steps:
- 1. Read VIN [VIN Number]
- 2. Connect to the server (Please make sure the network status is normal)
- 3. Wait for remote connection (Please contact a remote technician if needed)
Follow these steps on your tablet:
- Connect the VCI Link to your car and click "Remote Diagnostic Mode".
- Select WLAN.
- Choose your Wi-Fi network from the list.
- Log in and connect to your Wi-Fi network.
- Once the screen displays two blue checkmarks ✔️, the connection is successful and you are ready to proceed.
3. Login to asTech App
Access the asTech application on your All-In-One tablet.
The tablet interface features various diagnostic functions accessible via icons, including Mechanical, I/M Readiness, Report, Camera, Service Functions, DLC Voltage Check, Software Update, Can Bus Pin Detect, Local Assist, and Diag Feedback. The central blue 'asTech' icon is used to launch the application.
On your tablet, tap the center blue asTech button to open the app. Log in using your provided credentials (Email and Password).
4. Start New Request
Initiate a new diagnostic request within the asTech app.
After logging in, you can select your vehicle and then click the "+ New Request" button to begin a new session.
