6. Operation
- Charging the Battery: Use the DC charger to charge the battery. The indicator light on the charger turns green when fully charged.
- Remark: Change the lithium battery immediately when the alarm flashes. The Li-ion battery has low voltage protection; charge it as soon as possible when the battery is low. To maintain optimal battery function, charge it every 2-3 months even if not fully depleted. Use only the original DC charger.
- Placing the Laser Level:
- The laser level is self-leveling within a range of ±4°. It will alarm (beep and flash) when it is unlevel.
- A 1/4" thread at the bottom allows connection to a tripod.
- When mounted on a tripod, adjust the laser until the bubble is centered to ensure it is level.
- Control Panel Operation:
- Push the switch to the ON side to turn on; the laser will align automatically within the ±4° self-leveling range.
- The laser beam blinks and alarms when the unit is outside the self-alignment range. Place the laser on a tripod and adjust the angle until the blinking and beeping stop.
- Vertical/Horizontal Laser Lines: Press the [horizontal] button for horizontal lines; press twice for 2 horizontal lines. Press the [vertical] button for vertical lines; press twice for 2 vertical lines.
- Turn the "ON/OFF" switch to "OFF" to power down the laser level.
- Incline Mode: With the switch in the "OFF" condition, press the [slash] button to turn on the laser. Self-leveling is disabled in incline mode.
- Pulse Mode: While in incline mode, press the [slash] button again to activate pulse mode. This mode requires a 5KHz laser receiver, which must be purchased separately.
Remark: Pushing the switch to "ON" position activates self-leveling mode. The laser level cannot switch to "incline" mode when the ON/OFF switch is in the "ON" position.
