Getting Started and Usage

To begin, plug the unit into an electrical outlet. Prepare the reservoir by filling it with lukewarm water. Insert the desired tip by aligning notches and pressing firmly until it clicks. For first-time use, prime the unit by setting the pressure to high and running water through the handle into a sink. Tablets can be loaded into the handle for stain removal. Adjust the pressure setting gradually to your preference. Always place the tip in your mouth before turning on the power. Lean over a sink, close lips slightly to prevent splashing, and turn the water on. Glide the tip along the gumline at a 90-degree angle, pausing between teeth. The unit includes a one-minute timer with a 30-second pacer for optimal cleaning.

Cleaning and Troubleshooting

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance. Clean the product with a soft cloth and mild cleanser. The water reservoir is removable and dishwasher safe. For hard water deposits, fill the reservoir with warm water and 2 tablespoons of white vinegar, run the unit until empty, then rinse with clean water. This process should be done every 1-3 months. Using mouthwash with tablets is not recommended.

Water Pik, Inc. warrants this product against defects in materials and workmanship for two years from the date of purchase.
