Navigation

Navigating Menus

Use the Previous and Next thumb buttons or the up/down arrow keys. Activate an item with a cursor routing button or Enter.

Pan Text

Sentences often exceed the 40 characters allowed by your Mantis. To continue reading to the end of a sentence or back towards the beginning, use the left and right thumb buttons to pan the text. These buttons are located on the front edge of your device, directly to the left and right of the Home button.

Using the Context Menu

The context menu is accessible from almost anywhere on your device. It offers useful contextual functions relevant to what you are doing on your Mantis. For example, if you are looking for a specific action or shortcut, you are likely to find it in the context menu.

To activate the context menu, press and hold Ctrl, then press M. The Ctrl key is located in the front-left corner of the QWERTY keyboard. A menu will open with a list of actions you can perform at the current moment. Scroll through this menu until you find what you are looking for, then press Enter or any cursor routing button.

Accessing the Built-in User Manual

Access the built-in user manual from the main menu. There you will find the complete user manual along with a command reference. This is where you will find the most up-to-date information and other resources to help you get the most out of your Mantis Q40.
