Using the Appliance
Controls Panel
- L: Light on/off Switches the lighting system on and off.
- V: Speed button Sets the operating speed of the extractor:
- 0: Speed switches the extractor motor off.
- 1: Low speed, for continuous and silent air change with light cooking vapour.
- 2: Medium speed, suitable for most operating conditions for optimum air flow/noise level ratio.
- 3: Maximum speed, for eliminating the highest cooking vapour emission.
Never use the hood for purposes other than intended. Never leave high naked flames under the hood. Adjust flame intensity to the bottom of the pan. Deep fat fryers must be continuously monitored.
Efficient Use in terms of Energy Saving
- Adjust speed settings according to vapour and odour intensity to save energy.
- Use low speeds (1-2) under normal conditions, and high speed (3) for intense odour and vapour.
- Use the hood lamps only for illuminating the cooking area, not for general room lighting.
- Run the device at a low speed level for less energy consumption.
- Ensure sufficient air intake for efficient operation and reduced energy consumption.
- Set the device to intense suction power before steam formation to reduce operating time.
- Keep cookware lids closed to reduce steam.
Operating the Hood
- The hood has motor settings for various speeds.
- For better performance, use low speeds in normal conditions and high speeds when smell and vapors are intensified.
- Start the hood by pressing the desired speed level key (V1, V2, V3).
- Illuminate the cooking area by pressing the light key (L).

Operation with Flue Connection
Vapour is extracted through the flue duct. The diameter of the flue duct must match the connection ring. Ensure a slight upward slope for horizontal settings.
Operation without Flue Connection
Air is filtered through the carbon filter and recirculated. Use carbon filters when a flue connection is not possible. Remove flaps, install carbon filters by fitting them to the tabs, and replace the aluminum oil filter.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Regular cleaning and maintenance are crucial for the device's service life. Follow the instructions below.
WARNING: Failure to keep the device clean and replace filters as recommended may result in a fire risk.
- Before cleaning, unplug the product or turn off the switch.
- Clean using a cloth dampened with a neutral liquid detergent. Do not use abrasive products or alcohol.
Cleaning of Grease Filter
The grease filter captures air particles. Clean it monthly under normal usage. Remove filters, wash with liquid detergent, rinse with water, and dry. Discoloration after washing is normal.
The grease filter can be washed in a dishwasher.
Changing of Carbon Filter (Air Circulation Mode)
The carbon filter is used for air circulation when no flue connection is available. WARNING: Carbon filters are not washable. Replace them every 3 months. Carbon filters are available from Authorized Services.
Installation of Appliance
WARNING: Read safety information before installation. Failure to install with appropriate screws and stabilizers may result in electric shock.
Contact the nearest Authorized Service for installation. The customer is responsible for preparing the location and electrical installation.
