Important Information
Be sure to obey the following information so as not to harm yourself or others or damage this instrument or other external equipment.
Power adapter:
- Please use only the specified AC adapter supplied with the product. An incorrect or faulty adapter can cause damage to the electronic keyboard.
- Do not place the AC adapter or power cord near to any source of heat such as radiators or other heaters.
- To avoid damaging the power cord, please ensure that heavy objects are not placed on it and that it is not subject to stress or over bending.
- Check the power plug regularly and ensure it is free from surface dirt. Do not insert or unplug the power cord with wet hands.
Do not open the body of the electronic keyboard:
- Do not open the electronic keyboard or try to disassemble any part of it. If the device is not functioning correctly, please stop using it and send it to a qualified service agent for repair.
Use of the electronic keyboard:
- To avoid damaging the appearance of the electronic keyboard or damaging the internal parts please do not place the electronic keyboard in a dusty environment, in direct sunlight or in places where there are very high or very low temperatures.
- Do not place the electronic keyboard on an uneven surface. To avoid damaging internal parts do not place any vessel holding liquid onto the electronic keyboard as spillage may occur.
Maintenance:
- To clean the body of the electronic keyboard wipe it with a dry, soft cloth only.
Connection:
- To prevent damage to the speaker of the electronic keyboard please adjust the volume of any peripheral device to the lowest setting and gradually adjust the volume accordingly to an appropriate level once the music is playing.
During operation:
- Do not use the keyboard at the loudest volume level for a long period.
- Do not place heavy objects onto the keyboard or press the keyboard with undue force.
- The packaging should be opened by a responsible adult only and any plastic packaging should be stored or disposed of appropriately.

LCD Display
The LCD screen displays various information:
- 1. Playing chord indication
- 2. Volume level display
- 3. TONE, RHYTHM or demo SONG indicator
- 4. Digital display for song, rhythm and tone number
- 5. Tempo value of rhythm and song (bpm)
- 6. Metronome for rhythm and song indicator

Preparation Before First Use
Power
Use of AC/DC power adapter:
Connect the provided AC/DC power adapter (DC 9V, 500mA, centre positive plug) to the DC IN socket on the rear of the keyboard and then to a mains wall socket. Switch on the power.

Caution: When the keyboard is not in use, unplug the power adapter from the mains power socket.
Battery operation:
Open the battery lid on the underside of the keyboard and insert 6 x 1.5V Size AA alkaline batteries, ensuring correct polarity. Replace the battery lid.
Caution: Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not leave batteries in the keyboard if it will not be used for an extended period to avoid damage from leaking batteries.
Jacks and Accessories
Using headphones:
Connect a 3.5mm headphone plug into the [PHONES] jack on the rear. The internal speaker will automatically cut off. Headphones are not included.

Connecting External Devices
Connecting an Amplifier or Hi-Fi Equipment:
Turn off the keyboard and external equipment. Connect one end of a stereo audio cable (not included) to the LINE IN or AUX IN socket on the external equipment and the other end to the [PHONES] jack on the rear of the keyboard.

Connecting a phone or audio device to the AUX Input:
Connect one end of a stereo audio cable (not included) into the AUX IN socket on the back of the keyboard and the other end into your phone or audio device. Ensure the keyboard is switched on. Use the phone's volume control for music volume.

Connecting a Microphone:
Connect a 3.5mm microphone plug into the [MIC] jack on the rear of the keyboard. The microphone should be an electret or condenser type.

Connecting a USB Flash-drive or MicroSD card:
Place MP3 files onto a USB flash-drive or MicroSD card. Insert the drive/card into the input slot at the rear. The first song will play automatically.
- Use the [▶️]/[⏸️] button to Play/Pause playback.
- Use the [⏪] or [⏩] buttons to go to the previous or next song.
- Use the [VOL ➕]/[VOL ➖] buttons to adjust playback volume.
- Use the [EQ] button to cycle through 6 different tone settings.

Keyboard Operation
Power and Volume
Power control:
Press the [POWER] button [?] to turn the keyboard on or off. The LCD screen will light up when powered on.
Adjustment of the Master Volume:
Turn the MAIN VOLUME dial to change the overall volume.
Adjustment of Mixer Volume:
Touch the [MIXER] button to select CHORD, BASS CHORD, or PERCUSSION volume, then use the [MIXER VOL ➕]/[MIXER VOL ➖] buttons to adjust.
Tone
Tone Selection:
The default TONE is '00' Grand Piano. Press the [TONE] button, then enter a 2-digit number (00-99) using the number keys, or use the [➕]/[➖] buttons to change the tone. Refer to Appendix III for a full list of tones.
Effect & Control
Pitch Slider:
The touch-sensitive pitch slider on the left side panel adjusts the pitch of a note. Use the [➕]/[➖] on the slider.
Dual Tone Keyboard:
Press the [DUAL TONE] button to mix two tones. The LCD will show a flag indicator. The second tone can be selected using the number keys or [➕]/[➖] buttons. Press [DUAL TONE] again to exit.
Split Keyboard:
Press the [SPLIT] button to divide the keyboard into two sections at the 24th key from the left. The left-hand keys' pitch is raised by one octave. The tone of the left section can be adjusted. Press [SPLIT] again to exit.

Sound Output Mode:
Press the [STEREO] button repeatedly to select output modes: [STERE1], [STERE2], [MONO], or [NORMAL].
Sustain:
Touch the [SUSTAIN] button to enter Sustain mode, indicated by a flag on the LCD. This prolongs the sound of each note. Touch [SUSTAIN] again to exit.
Vibrato:
The [VIBRATO] function adds vibrato to notes. Adjust the amount from 000 (Off) to 007 (Maximum) using the [VIBRATO ➕]/[VIBRATO ➖] buttons. Pressing both [VIBRATO] buttons simultaneously resets the level to 000. The level resets to 000 on power off/on.
Transpose:
Use the [TRANSPOSE ➕]/[TRANSPOSE ➖] buttons to alter the musical scale by up to 6 levels. Pressing both [TRANSPOSE] buttons simultaneously resets the transpose level to 0. The level resets to 0 on power off/on.
Metronome:
Touch the [METRONOME] button to activate the metronome. Four beat patterns are available. Use [TEMPO ➕]/[TEMPO ➖] buttons to adjust tempo. Press [METRONOME] repeatedly to cycle through beat patterns. The LCD shows the selected beat. Exit by pressing [START/STOP] or [METRONOME] again.
Panel Percussion Instruments:
Press the [PERCUSSION] button to enable percussion sounds on all keys. Press [PERCUSSION] again to exit. Refer to Appendix I for a list of 61 percussion sounds.
Rhythm Functions
Selecting the rhythm:
Choose from 300 built-in rhythms. Press the [RHYTHM] button to enter selection mode. The LCD shows the current rhythm number. Select by entering the number using the keypad or [➕]/[➖] buttons. Refer to Appendix II for the rhythm table.
Start / Stop:
With a rhythm selected, press the [Start/Stop] button [▶️]/[⏸️] to start or stop playback.
Sync:
Touch the [SYNC] button for synchronized accompaniment. Press any of the first 19 keys on the left-hand side to start the rhythm. Press [START/STOP] to stop and exit sync mode.
Fill in:
While a rhythm is playing, touch the [FILL IN] button during playback to add a rhythmic fill. The rhythm continues normally after the fill.
Tempo Adjustment:
Use the [TEMPO ➕]/[TEMPO ➖] buttons to adjust the tempo of rhythms, metronome, or demo songs. Press and hold for quick adjustment. Range: 30-240 bpm. Pressing both [TEMPO] buttons simultaneously resets to the default tempo for the selected rhythm. Default tempo on power-on is 120 bpm.
Chord Accompaniment
Single Finger Chords:
Touch the [SINGLE] button to activate single finger chords. The LCD shows a flag. Play chords by pressing keys in the chord area (keys 1-19). Finger patterns are in Appendix VI. The played chord is shown on the LCD. Press [START/STOP] to start/stop accompaniment.
Multi Finger Chords:
Touch the [FINGERED] button to activate multi-finger chords. The LCD shows a flag. Play chords by pressing keys in the chord area (keys 1-19). Finger patterns are in Appendix VI. The played chord is shown on the LCD. Press [START/STOP] to start/stop accompaniment. Note: Use patterns from Appendix VI for correct sound.
Chord Tones:
There are 5 chord accompaniment tones. Cycle through them by pressing the [CHORD TONE] button. Press [CHORD OFF] to stop.
Intro / Ending:
With a rhythm selected, touch the [Intro / Ending] button for an intro section. After the intro, the main section plays. Touch [Intro / Ending] again for an ending section. Auto accompaniment stops automatically after the ending.
Recording and Programming
Recording Function:
Touch the [REC] button to enter recording mode (indicated by an LCD flag). Press any key to start recording. Maximum capacity: 118 notes. LCD displays [Full] if capacity is reached.
Touch the [PLAY BACK] button to play recorded notes. Touch [REC] again to exit recording mode.
Rhythm Programming:
Press the [PROGRAM] button to activate rhythm programming mode (indicated by an LCD flag). Record a percussion track up to 32 beats. Use [PLAY BACK] to playback the track. Adjust playback speed with [TEMPO] buttons. Press [PROGRAM] again to exit.
Demo Songs and Memory
Demo Songs:
Touch the [DEMO] button to play a demo song. The LCD shows 'SONG' and the song number. Choose songs using number keys or [➕]/[➖] buttons (000-039). The keyboard plays the next song after the current one finishes. Touch [DEMO] again to exit. Refer to Appendix IV for the list.
Setting Memories M1 to M4:
Save specific volume, rhythm, tone, and tempo settings in four built-in memories. Select desired settings, press [MEMORY], then press [M1], [M2], [M3], or [M4] to save. Recall settings by pressing the respective memory button before performing. Memories are retained after power off/on.
Piano Key:
Press the [PIANO] key as a shortcut to quickly revert to piano key sounds.
Teaching Modes
Single Key Course:
Touch [TEACH 1]. LCD flags 'Teach 1'. Suitable for beginners to learn rhythm and tempo. LCD shows [SONG XXX Demo]. Select songs with [+/-] or number keys. Beat point flashes to indicate tempo. Keyboard plays melody with key presses, even incorrect ones.
Synchronised Course:
Touch [TEACH 2]. LCD flags 'Teach 2'. For more advanced users. LCD shows [SONG XXX Demo]. Select songs with [+/-] or number keys. Beat point flashes for tempo. Correct keys to press are displayed. Play in time, holding correct keys. Song progresses only with correct presses.
Concert Course:
Touch [TEACH 3]. LCD flags 'Teach 3'. For highly advanced users. LCD shows [SONG XXX Demo]. Select songs with [+/-] or number keys. Beat point flashes for tempo. Correct keys to press are displayed. Play in time with correct key presses.
Progressive Learning:
Follow these steps to master songs:
- Listen to the song in DEMO mode for timing and beat.
- Access the song in SINGLE KEY COURSE mode and duplicate timings with a single key.
- Access the song in SYNC COURSE mode and play along with indicated keys.
- Access the song in CONCERT COURSE mode and play along unaided.
