Download the "D-Link Wi-Fi" app from the App Store or Google Play. You can scan a QR code provided on the Quick Installation Card to easily find the app.

Open the D-Link Wi-Fi app. It will display a welcome screen. Tap the option to "Install New Device". Follow the on-screen prompts, which will guide you to connect to the router's default Wi-Fi network using details from your Quick Installation Card.

Connect the router to power and your modem. Plug the power adapter into the router and a wall outlet. Connect one end of the Ethernet cable to the router's WAN port and the other end to your modem.

Wait for the router to initialize. This process typically takes less than 120 seconds. A visual indicator (like a sun icon) will show when the router is ready.

Locate the Wi-Fi Name (SSID) and Password printed on the Quick Installation Card that came with your router.

Password: XXXXXXXXXX

Connect a computer or mobile device to the router's Wi-Fi network using the credentials from the Quick Installation Card. Open a web browser and enter http://dlinkrouter.local./ in the address bar to access the router's web-based setup interface.

Access the setup page via http://dlinkrouter.local./.

The computer interface will show the router's status and connection options.
