- Connect the USB-C cable to the light and a USB port or AC adapter (not included). Ensure the adapter does not exceed 5V, 2.0A.
- The Battery Status Indicator (2) will illuminate during charging.
- A full charge takes 3-6 hours. Charge completely before first use.
- The area light can be operated while charging.
- Keep the USB Port Cover (5) closed when not in use to maintain IP rating.
Battery Status Indicator
Press and release the Power Button (1) while the unit is off to check battery level:
LED Status | % Charged |
---|---|
Not illuminated | 0% charged |
Solid green | 91% to 100% charge remaining |
Solid yellow | 61% to 90% charge remaining |
Solid red | 36% to 60% charge remaining |

Power Button Functions (1)
- To Turn On: Press and hold the Power Button.
- To Cycle Modes: Press and release the Power Button to cycle through: All-On, Spot High, Spot Low, Flood High, Flood Medium, Flood Low.
- To Turn Off: Press and hold the Power Button while in any mode.

Battery Internal Temperature Protection
If the internal temperature is outside specified ranges, the Battery Level Indicator LEDs will blink alternately (Green/Yellow, Green/Red), and the product will shut down. Operation will resume when the temperature returns to normal.
Proximity Sensor (8)
In All-on or Spot Light mode, the sensor detects if the Spot Light lens (7) is blocked and automatically reduces light output to prevent overheating. The sensor may not work if the lens is covered in water or dirt.
To test: With the Spot Light on, cover the area with a solid object. The first green LED of the Battery Status Indicator (2) should blink, lights dim over seven seconds, then blink three times. Remove the blockage to return to original brightness. If this does not occur, clean the sensor with a cotton swab or soft brush and test again. If the issue persists, discontinue use and replace the unit.
Power Sharing (Charging Devices)
Connect a charging cable to the USB-A Output Port (4) and the device to be charged. The Battery Status Indicator (2) will show charging has begun. Use the device's original cable for best results.
MODbox Rail Mounting
- Hook the Latching MODbox Rail Hooks (9) onto the top or bottom rail of the MODbox unit (FIG. B).
- Push the bottom of the Base (13) to separate the hooks, and swing the Stationary MODbox Rail Hooks (10) over the rails (FIG. C).
- Release pressure to close the hooks and secure the Area Light (FIG. D).
- Reverse the process to remove the Area Light.
Maintenance
Cleaning
Ensure the device is disconnected from all power sources. Use a clean, dry, soft, lint-free cloth to wipe the unit. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
Storage
- For storage over one month, charge fully before storing. Recharge approximately every three months.
- Store in cool temperatures, mild humidity, and away from direct sunlight.
- Avoid extreme hot or cold temperatures, as this can reduce service life and performance. Keep away from corrosive chemicals and gases.
- Inspect the device visually after storage before recharging or charging other devices. Allow the unit to return to ambient conditions before use.
Recharging
- Recharge as needed. Avoid regularly discharging the battery completely, as this can impact its overall life.
- Regularly inspect ports and the charging cable for debris, dirt, damage, or corrosion. Do not attempt repairs; replace the device or cable if necessary.
