Getting Started
1. Insert the Batteries and Memory Card
Follow these steps to prepare your camera:
- Open the battery cover.
- Insert the batteries into the battery compartment.
- Insert the memory card into the slot.
- Close the battery cover.

2. Set the Language, Date, and Time
Upon first power-on, you will be prompted to set your preferences:
- Push the power switch ⬆️ to turn the camera on. The language menu will appear. Use the ⬆️/⬇️/⬅️/➡️ buttons to select your desired language, then press the [SET button] to confirm.
- Use the ⬆️/⬇️/⬅️/➡️ buttons again to set the date and time. Press the [SET button] to confirm.

Basic Operation
3. Taking a Picture
- Hold the camera securely.
- Use the zoom lever [Zoom lever] to select Tele (zoom in) or Wide (zoom out) positions to frame your subject.
- Press the [Shutter button] halfway to focus on the subject. When the focus box turns green ?, press the [Shutter button] completely down to take the picture.

4. Using the Mode Dial
The Mode Dial [Mode dial] allows you to easily switch between different shooting modes. Available modes include:
- Auto Mode
- Program AE
- Shutter priority
- Manual Mode
- Face Beautifier
- Panorama Mode
- SCN Scene Mode
- Movie Mode
- CS Custom Settings
- Landscape Mode

5. Using the Fast Video Recording Button
In shooting mode, press the [Fast video recording button] ▶️ to begin recording a video. Press the same button again to stop recording. The camera will store the video and return to the shooting screen.

6. Using the Menu Button
Press the [Menu button] ☰ to access the "Easy Menu". Use the ⬆️/⬇️ buttons to navigate options and press the [SET button] to make a selection. Choosing specific items within the Easy Menu can provide access to the "Full Menu".
