Wyze Scale Ultra Quick Start Guide
Welcome to Wyze! This guide will help you set up your Wyze Scale Ultra for a healthier, more connected lifestyle.

Setup:
- Install Batteries: Open the battery compartment on the back of the scale and insert the 4 AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Download the Wyze App: Search for "Wyze" on the App Store or Google Play, download it, and sign in or create an account.
- Connect Your Scale: In the Wyze app, tap the '+' icon, then select 'Device' > 'Lifestyle' > 'Wyze Scale Ultra'. Follow the in-app instructions. Ensure your phone's Bluetooth® is enabled and tap the scale's surface to activate it for connection.
- First Measurement: Once connected, place the scale on a hard, flat surface. Step onto the scale with bare feet, ensuring your feet touch all four electrodes for accurate readings.
Tips for Accurate Measurements
- Place the scale on a hard, flat surface.
- Do not wear socks.
- Do not let your knees touch each other.
- Ensure your personal information (age, sex, height) in the Wyze app is accurate.
- Connect to the Wyze app before each measurement, especially if sharing the scale.
Understanding the Display
136.8 lb: Indicates a weight measurement.
C: Indicates the scale is calibrating.
Err: Suspected error. Clean the scale with a damp cloth and try again.
Low Battery Symbol: Batteries are low. Replace the batteries.
Error Message: An error occurred. Step off and back on to repeat the measurement.
Units and Factory Reset
- Changing Units: Locate the 'UNIT' button under the battery cover on the back of the scale. Press it to switch between lb and kg.
- Factory Reset: Press and hold the 'UNIT' button for 5 seconds until the TFT display shows "Clear".
Sharing Your Scale
You can share your Wyze Scale Ultra with family members through the Wyze app. Follow the sharing instructions within the app.
Athlete Mode
If you exercise more than 10 hours per week and have a resting heart rate below 60 bpm, consider enabling 'Athlete Mode' in the Wyze app for more accurate body composition analysis.
Important Safety Precautions
- Do not stand on the edge of the scale to avoid falling or inaccurate measurements.
- Avoid using the scale on tiled or wet floors.
- Ensure the scale surface is clean to prevent slipping.
- Handle the scale with care; do not drop or jump on it.
- Avoid using the scale near strong magnetic fields (e.g., microwave ovens).
- Medical Device Advisory: Individuals with implanted medical devices (pacemakers, life support systems), portable electronic medical devices, or pregnant women should consult their healthcare provider before use. Use the scale only while wearing shoes or activate the "Only Measure Weight" setting in the app.
- Battery Safety: Only use 1.5V AAA batteries. Do not expose batteries to extreme heat, fire, or attempt to crush or puncture them, as this may cause explosion or leakage.
Care and Maintenance
- Avoid high temperatures and direct sunlight.
- If stored near freezing temperatures, allow the scale to acclimate to room temperature before use.
- Remove batteries if the scale will not be used for 3 months or more.
- Clean the scale with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the scale in water.
- The scale is designed to maintain performance for at least 10,000 measurements.
