Stelrad Radiator Mounting Guide
Wall Fixings and Stability
Important Note on Wall Fixings: The screws and plugs provided in the packaging are not suitable for all types of walls. It is essential for the installer to select appropriate screws and plugs that are compatible with the specific wall material to ensure the stability and safety of the radiator installation.
Maximum Torque Specification: When tightening fixings, do not exceed a maximum torque of 15 N-m (Newton-meters). Overtightening can damage the wall or the fixing components.
Mounting Procedure
Step 1: Bracket Attachment. The initial step involves attaching a mounting bracket to the wall. A minimum torque of 10 N/m is indicated for certain fixing points. The diagram also shows a radiator element and a symbol indicating rotation or adjustment.
Step 2: Securing to Wall Plate. This illustration details how the radiator bracket is secured to a wall plate. The bracket features a hook mechanism that engages with the wall plate, ensuring a firm connection.
Step 3: Wall Mounting. The assembled bracket is shown mounted on a wall using screws and plugs. An inset view provides a close-up of the locking mechanism that secures the bracket to the wall plate, emphasizing a stable fit.
Step 4: Radiator Support. The final diagram depicts the installed bracket holding several radiator tubes in place, illustrating the completed mounting of the radiator structure.
