Get started
Before you begin, ensure you have your Google ID and password, and your Wi-Fi password ready.
Power on device
To power on your device, locate the Side key and press and hold it. The phone displays the AT&T logo during startup.
Insert the SIM card
Follow these steps to insert your SIM card:
- Use the SIM Tool to open the SIM Card Tray.
- Insert the SIM Card into the tray.
For optimal network performance, it is recommended to use the SIM card that shipped with your new phone.
Important Note: Use only Samsung-approved chargers and cables. Damage caused by the use of unapproved accessories is not covered by warranty.
Follow setup screens
Once powered on, follow the on-screen setup prompts to configure your device and transfer content from your previous phone. The initial screen will display a "Welcome!" message with a "Start" button.
