Safety Notices
Before using HDML-Cloner Box, please ensure that you read and understand the safety precautions below:
- Do not attempt to open the case of HDML-Cloner Box or modify it in any way, as this will void the warranty.
- Keep HDML-Cloner Box away from water and other liquids, as this may cause the unit to malfunction.
- HDML-Cloner Box may become warm during use. This does not indicate malfunction.
- Do not place heavy objects on HDML-Cloner Box, as this may cause the unit to overheat and malfunction.
- If the exterior of HDML-Cloner Box requires cleaning, wipe it with a soft dry cloth.
- Do not dispose of the unit via conventional domestic waste.
Product Diagram
The HDML-Cloner Box is a compact black device. The top surface features several ports and buttons. From left to right, there is an ON/OFF button, a 5V/2A power input socket, an HDMI IN port, an HDMI OUT port, a USB storage port, and a REC/STOP button with a 1080p/720p indicator. There is also a MIC jack for microphone input.
Surrounding the device in the diagram are icons representing its functionality: a laptop with a 'REC' indicator ?, a game controller with a 'REC' indicator ?, and a DVD disc with a 'REC' indicator ?.
Device Ports and Buttons:
- 1. ON/OFF: Press and hold this button for about 5 seconds to turn the power on or off.
- 2. 5V/2A: Plug the power adapter into this socket to power on the HDML-Cloner Box.
- 3. IN: Connect an HDMI cable between the source video player and the HDML-Cloner Box.
- 4. OUT: Connect an HDMI cable between the HDML-Cloner Box and the TV.
- 5. Storage: Insert a USB flash drive or mobile hard disk here to record videos to this storage medium.
- 6. REC/STOP and 1080p/720p: Press this button to start or stop recording. Pressing and holding this button for a few seconds switches between 720p and 1080p resolution.
- 7. MIC: Insert the microphone plug into this jack to input voice.
Connection Guides
2.1 Xbox 360 and Xbox One
To connect an Xbox 360 or Xbox One: Connect the Xbox to the HDML-Cloner Box's HDMI IN port using an HDMI cable. Connect the HDML-Cloner Box's HDMI OUT port to the TV using another HDMI cable. Plug the power adapter into the HDML-Cloner Box's 5V/2A port. Connect your USB storage device (HDD or USB stick) to the HDML-Cloner Box's USB port.
- Plug the power adapter into the power socket and connect the other end into the 5V/2A port of HDML-Cloner Box.
- Connect Xbox 360/Xbox One to HDMI IN on HDML-Cloner Box via an HDMI cable.
- Connect HDML-Cloner Box from HDMI OUT to TV via an HDMI cable.
- Connect the HDD or USB stick to the USB port of HDML-Cloner Box.
2.2 Nintendo Wii
To connect a Nintendo Wii: Connect the Wii to the HDML-Cloner Box's HDMI IN port using an HDMI cable. Connect the HDML-Cloner Box's HDMI OUT port to the TV using another HDMI cable. Plug the power adapter into the HDML-Cloner Box's 5V/2A port. Connect your USB storage device (HDD or USB stick) to the HDML-Cloner Box's USB port.
- Plug the power adapter into the power socket and connect the other end into the 5V/2A port of HDML-Cloner Box.
- Connect Wii to HDMI IN on HDML-Cloner Box via an HDMI cable.
- Connect HDML-Cloner Box from HDMI OUT to TV via an HDMI cable.
- Connect the HDD or USB stick to the USB port of HDML-Cloner Box.
2.3 Set-top box/HD video output devices
Your HDML-Cloner Box can capture any video from any video source/device. To connect a set-top box, DVD/Blu-ray player, PC, or any other device: Connect the source device to the HDML-Cloner Box's HDMI IN port via an HDMI cable. Connect the HDML-Cloner Box's HDMI OUT port to the TV via an HDMI cable. Plug the power adapter into the HDML-Cloner Box's 5V/2A port. Connect your USB storage device (HDD or USB stick) to the HDML-Cloner Box's USB port.
Your HDML-Cloner Box can capture any video from any video source/device and all you need is the right ports/connections!
- Plug the power adapter into the power socket and plug the other end into the 5V/2A port of HDML-Cloner Box.
- Connect the set-top box, DVD/Blu-ray player, PC or any other device to HDMI IN on HDML-Cloner Box via an HDMI cable.
- Connect HDML-Cloner Box from HDMI OUT to TV via an HDMI cable.
- Connect the HDD or USB stick to the USB port of HDML-Cloner Box.
How to Record/Capture
- Switch On Power. The LED light will illuminate solid Blue or Green.
- Prior to gameplay or video playback, press the REC/STOP button. Start playing game or video, then recording will start simultaneously. The LED light will blink Blue or Green.
- When gameplay or video playback is completed, press the REC/STOP button again to stop recording.
- The LED light will blink blue/green alternately several times. DO NOT remove the USB device as the file is being saved. The LED light will turn Blue or Green after the file is saved.
LED Status Indicators:
The LED light of HDML-Cloner Box will illuminate different colors/ways to indicate functions.

Tips
- When the storage space of the USB flash drive or mobile hard disk is full, HDML-Cloner Box will stop recording.
- If you press and hold the REC/STOP button for a few seconds, it will work as a switch between 720p and 1080p.
Note: You can switch between 720p and 1080p only with the input resolution of 1080p/1080i.
USB Storage Requirements:
Please use a mobile hard disk or USB flash drive with a storage capacity of 2TB or less in NTFS or FAT32 format. Please make sure the disk boot format is MBR.

Microphone Function
For best quality voice recording, please use a good quality microphone.
To control voice recording, please adjust the volume of the HDMI input source.
