1. Setting up your Digital Audio Baby Monitor
A. Parent unit battery installation
The rechargeable battery pack supplied should be installed so that the Parent Unit can be moved without losing the link with the Baby Unit. We recommend charging the battery pack for 16 hours before using for the first time. Only use the rechargeable battery provided.
Steps:
- Open and lift the battery door up as shown in the figure.
- Insert the rechargeable batteries following the direction into the battery compartment.
- Put back the battery cover.

⚠️ Strangulation hazard. Children have STRANGLED in cords. Keep this cord out of the reach of children (more than 1 metre (3ft) away). Do not remove the tags from the AC Adapters. Only use the AC Adapters provided.
B. Parent unit power supply
Insert the DC plug of the power adapter into the DC jack on the side of the parent unit. Connect the other end of the power adapter to a suitable mains power socket. The parent unit will turn on.
NOTE: Only use the power adapter provided (DC6V/400mA). Please make sure the batteries are installed.
C. Baby unit power supply
Insert the DC plug of the power adapter into the DC jack on the side of the baby unit. Connect the other end of the power adapter to a suitable mains power socket. The Power indicator will illuminate.

2. Basic operation of the keys
Parent unit
- Power On/Off: Press and hold the power button.
- Night Light: Press the night light button.
- Volume Up / Scroll Up: Press the volume up button. While in a menu, press to scroll up.
- Volume Down / Scroll Down: Press the volume down button. While in a menu, press to move down the menu list.
- Access Main Menu: Press the menu button.
- Access Sub-menu / Confirm: While in a menu, press to access the sub-menu, or confirm the settings.
- Cancel / Back: Press to cancel settings and go back to the previous level.
- Two-way Talk: Press and hold the talk button.
Baby Unit
- Power On/Off: Press and hold the power button.
3. Basic explanation of the display icons
- Connection status: Displays when the parent unit is linked to the baby unit. Flashes when the link is lost.
- Battery status: ? [Battery Status] (Indicates battery level)
- Sound Alert: ? [Sound Alert] Displays when sound alert is ON. Flashes when sound alert is triggered.
- Volume off: ? [Volume Muted] Displays when speaker volume is turned off.
- Lullabies: ? [Lullaby] Turns on when listening to lullabies.
- Night Light: ? [Night Light] Turns on when the night light is on.

Warranty Coverage Details

Exclusions
- Normal Wear and Tear: Periodic maintenance, repair, and replacement of parts due to normal wear and tear are excluded.
- Abuse & Misuse: Defects or damage from improper operation, storage, misuse, accident, neglect (e.g., physical damage, contact with liquid, extreme heat, food), commercial use, or abnormal usage are excluded.
- Use of Non-Motorola branded Products and Accessories: Defects or damage resulting from the use of non-Motorola branded or certified products or accessories are excluded.
- Unauthorised Service or Modification: Defects or damages resulting from service, testing, adjustment, installation, maintenance, alteration, or modification by anyone other than authorized service centers are excluded.
- Altered Products: Products or Accessories with removed/altered serial numbers, tampered seals, mismatched board serial numbers, or non-conforming housings/parts are excluded.
- Communication Services: Defects, damages, or failures due to communication services or signals used with the products are excluded.
How to Obtain Warranty Service or Other Information
To obtain service or information, please visit: motorolanursery.com/support. You will receive instructions on how to ship the Products or Accessories at your expense and risk to an MZGW Authorised Repair Centre.
To obtain service, you must include:
- The Product or Accessory.
- The original proof of purchase (receipt) including date, place, and seller.
- A completed warranty card showing the serial number (if included).
- A written description of the problem.
- Your address and telephone number.
These terms and conditions constitute the complete warranty agreement.
Disposal of the Device (environment)
At the end of the product life cycle, do not dispose of this product with normal household waste. Take it to a collection point for the recycling of electrical and electronic equipment. The symbol on the product, user's guide, and/or box indicates this. Reusing parts contributes to environmental protection. Please contact your local authorities for more information on collection points.
