1 - Description of the Appliance and Commands

2 - Installation
- After removing packaging, check appliance for damage. If in doubt, do not use and consult qualified personnel.
- Place appliance on a flat, stable surface, protecting the surface.
- Assemble wheels and supports: Insert brackets (8) into supports (11). Position supports (11, 11a) between outer radiator fins (2). For CALDORAD 7, secure supports (11b) with screws (9b). Rotate brackets (8) upwards. Lock supports (11) with wing nuts (9), do not overtighten. Rotate appliance to vertical position.
- Safety: Do not use without wheels/supports. Use only in vertical position (handle "3" up); other positions are dangerous.
- Ensure power cord is fully straightened.
- Place appliance in an appropriate environment on a stable, flat surface.
- Ensure curtains or other objects do not obstruct airflow (refer to fig. 3).
- Maintain at least 1m clearance on sides, behind, and above the appliance (refer to fig. 1).
- Ensure no flammable or heat-sensitive objects are within 1 meter of the appliance.
- Set knob (14) to "O" (OFF) and knob (13) to "MIN".
- Connect the plug to the power socket.
- Verify mains data matches the appliance data plate.
- Route the cord away from traffic areas to prevent tripping.
3 - Use
Knob "14" (ON/OFF):
- "O": Appliance OFF
- "ECO-MODULATING": Rotate knob to "ECO" position.
- "MEDIUM POWER": Rotate knob to " " position.
- "MAXIMUM POWER": Rotate knob to " " position.
- "TURBO": Rotate knob to " " position.
Knob "13" - Thermostat:
- Start the appliance by rotating knob (14) to the desired power; indicator (12) lights up.
- To set room temperature: rotate knob "13" clockwise to "MAX". Then, slowly rotate "13" counter-clockwise until the appliance switches off. The appliance will cycle on/off to maintain this temperature.
Knob "5" - Mode:
- Use switch (5a) to select one of three modes:
- Continuous mode "I": Selects room temperature.
- Timer mode " ": Sets a timer for appliance switch-off.
- Continuous mode "0": Switches off the appliance.
To completely switch off: Place knob (14) to "0"; LED (12) turns off. Disconnect the plug from the power socket.
4 - Operation
4.1 - "FAN" Mode
Select this mode by rotating knob (14) to the " " symbol.
4.2 - "TIMER" Mode
The appliance has a 24-hour interval timer with 96 segments (15 minutes each). Knob (5) is used for timer setting.
- Set Current Time: Rotate knob (5) clockwise, aligning the arrow with the current time.
- Set Timer Mode: Push segments outwards for the time the appliance should stay ON. Push segments inwards for the time the appliance should switch OFF. Example: To set ON at 05:00 and OFF at 06:00, push the 4 segments between 5 and 6 outwards.
- Set switch (5a) to " " to enable the timer. If switch (5a) is set to "I", the appliance operates in continuous mode, deactivating the timer.
- Timer settings are saved until the appliance is switched off. If unplugged, the current time is not automatically updated; reset it upon reconnection.
5 - Overheat Protection
The appliance has overheat protection that automatically switches it off. If this occurs:
- Unplug the appliance.
- Wait approximately 30 minutes for it to cool.
- Identify and remove the cause of overheating (e.g., something covering the appliance).
- Check the appliance, cord, and plug for damage.
- If no damage is found, plug in and switch on again. If it remains off, contact Customer Service.
6 - Safety Control (Tip Over Switch)
If the appliance falls or tilts, the tip-over switch automatically turns it off. It will restart normally when placed upright again.
7 - Maintenance and Cleaning
Before cleaning or maintenance: Unplug the appliance and wait for the fan to stop completely.
- Use a dry cloth for cleaning.
- For heavy dirt, use a damp cloth (not wet) with warm water (max 50°C) and mild detergent for external parts. Dry with a dry cloth.
- Use a brush or vacuum cleaner to remove dust from radiator fins (2).
- Ensure the appliance is completely dry before reconnecting the plug.
- Do not use chemically treated or antistatic cloths.
- Do not use petrol, solvents, polishing pastes, or similar products, as they may damage the plastic surface.
- Do not use oils, chemical substances, or abrasive products.
- Do not wash or immerse the appliance in water.
- In case of malfunction, do not attempt disassembly; refer to the retailer or technical assistance service.
8 - Preservation of the Appliance
For long periods of non-use or if performing dusty work:
- Switch off and unplug the appliance.
- Wrap the power cord (6) around the support (4).
- Store in a cool, dry place away from humidity.
