Applications
TubePoint is versatile and suitable for various tunnel lighting scenarios, including entrance, exit, and interior point source lighting.
Tunnel Entrance
At the tunnel entrance, TubePoint provides high lumen packages with optimized counterbeam and symmetrical distribution. This ensures a smooth transition from bright outdoor conditions to the lower light levels inside the tunnel, enhancing driver comfort and safety.
Tunnel Interior
Inside the tunnel, lower lumen packages combined with a wide range of symmetrical light distributions ensure optimal lighting and a safe driving environment.
Tunnel Exit
When exiting the tunnel, drivers' eyes need to quickly adapt to outside light conditions. TubePoint's medium to high lumen packages and counterbeam/symmetrical lighting distribution facilitate this adaptation, preventing hesitancy or indecision.
Traffic Underpasses
The features of TubePoint also make it ideal for meeting the specific lighting needs of traffic underpasses.

Lighting Performance
TubePoint offers outstanding flexibility in terms of lighting distributions and luminous flux, making it suitable for a wide array of tunnel applications. It delivers high-quality light, ensuring a comfortable driving experience.
Key lighting distributions include:
- DTCB Distribution (Counterbeam): Typically used for entrance lighting in 2-3 lane tunnels.
- DTS Distribution (Symmetrical Standard): Suitable for entrance and interior lighting in 2-lane tunnels.
- DTS-WB Distribution (Symmetrical Wide): Ideal for entrance and interior lighting in 3-lane tunnels.
- DTA Distribution (Asymmetrical Standard): Used for entrance and interior lighting in 2-lane tunnels.
- DTA-WB Distribution (Asymmetrical Wide): Applicable for entrance and interior lighting in 3-lane tunnels.

Installation and Maintenance
TubePoint is designed for quick and efficient installation, benefiting from its low weight, quick mounting brackets, and plug-and-play connectivity (through wiring).
Installation Options:
- Cable tray mounting (with quick release brackets in various dimensions)
- Adjustable wall mounting
- Ceiling mounting
All mounting brackets are made of stainless steel and feature galvanic separation from the luminaire and mounting structure.
Easy Maintenance:
TubePoint is built for longevity and designed for easy maintenance. Critical components can be accessed on-site within minutes using just a screwdriver. For more extensive maintenance, the luminaire can be completely disassembled as no glue is used; all parts are secured with screws. The driver and LED units are fully repairable off-site, and spare parts are readily available.

In Control
Adding controls to your tunnel lighting optimizes the total installation and maximizes the value of your TubePoint investment. Lighting controls continuously adapt to changing external brightness, ensuring smooth transitions for drivers entering, passing through, and exiting tunnels. They also provide valuable status and health information about the lighting system.
TunneLogic
TubePoint Performer can be connected to TunneLogic, Philips' advanced tunnel control and monitoring system for LED technology. This system is easy to install, commission, operate, and maintain, offering safe lighting control and system health monitoring.
BaseLogic
Alternatively, TubePoint can integrate with BaseLogic, a retrofit entry-level adaptive control lighting system. BaseLogic communicates via powerline and includes enterprise server software, a photometer, tunnel control unit, data transmitter, and monitoring module.
