Use and handling
Stop using the wireless headset immediately if you begin to feel tired or if you experience discomfort or pain in your head while operating the wireless headset. If the condition persists, consult a doctor.
Avoid prolonged use of the wireless headset. Take a break at about 30-minute intervals. Permanent hearing loss may occur if the headset is used at high volume. Set the volume to a
safe level. Over time, increasingly loud audio may start to sound normal but can actually be damaging your hearing. If you experience ringing in your ears or muffled speech, stop listening and have your hearing checked. The louder the volume, the sooner your hearing could be affected. To protect your hearing: Limit the amount of time you use the headset at high volume. Avoid raising the volume to block out noisy surroundings. Lower the volume if you can't hear people speaking near you. If you feel that the headset is irritating your skin, stop using it immediately. Do not expose the headset to high temperatures, high humidity or direct sunlight. Do not put heavy objects on the headset. Do not allow liquid or small particles to get into the headset. Do not throw or drop the headset or subject it to strong physical shock. Do not place any rubber or vinyl materials on the headset exterior for an extended period of time. Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the headset. Do not use solvents or other chemicals. Do not wipe with a chemically treated cleaning cloth. Do not disassemble or insert anything into the headset because this may cause damage to the internal components or cause injury to you. Observe all signs and instructions that require an electrical device or radio product to be switched off in designated areas, such as gas/refueling stations, hospitals, blasting areas, potentially explosive atmospheres or aircraft. The battery used in this device may present a risk of fire or chemical burn if mistreated. Do not disassemble, heat above 60 °C (140 °F), or incinerate.

Wireless adaptor
Initial setup
1 Charge your headset by connecting it to a USB port with the supplied USB
cable. The headset may need up to 3.5 hours to charge fully from empty.
2 Insert the wireless adaptor into a USB port on your PS4TM system. 3 Slide the power/audio mode switch on the headset to position 1 or 2.
Using your headset with your PS4TM system
The headset is compatible with PS4TM system software version 4.00 or later. More than one headset can be used with your PS4TM system. Status display When you connect your headset to your PS4TM system, and when you change settings, status information appears in the upper right corner of the screen.

* [Output to Headphones] is a system setting that controls the type of audio output to the wireless headset. It is available only when the wireless adaptor is inserted in the PS4TM system.
Audio output selection
With your wireless headset you can listen to music, videos and games from your PlayStation®4 system. This can be in stereo, Virtual Surround Sound or 3D audio depending on the content's format.
You can listen to both game audio and chat audio simultaneously. Use the SOUND/CHAT buttons to adjust the relative volume of game audio vs. chat audio.
You can change the audio output to your headset so that you can hear only chat audio.
You can change the audio output format by using the VSS/3D AUDIO switch.
To change the audio output on your PS4TM system, and enable or disable
the VSS/3D AUDIO switch and SOUND/CHAT buttons, select
(Settings)

***Non-VR games must have 3D audio technology implemented to allow your headset to output 3D audio format.
Some games authored in stereo/5.1/7.1 may support 3D audio in certain sections or game levels for PS VR. In this case, you'll only experience 3D audio when your headset is plugged in to PS VR and you're in the specified sections or game levels.

Using your headset with a PC
You can use your headset with a PC (Windows® or Mac OS) that has a USB port. Insert the wireless adaptor into a USB port on the PC, and then turn on your headset. For further instructions about using your headset with Windows® or Mac OS, visit playstation.com/helpme.
Hints Your headset might not work with some computers. The VSS/3D AUDIO switch and SOUND/CHAT buttons can be used only when the
headset is connected to a PS4TM system.
Using your headset with PlayStation®VR
You can use an audio cable to connect your headset to the stereo headphone jack of PlayStation®VR. This will output game audio processed through PlayStation®VR. Note If your headset is connected wirelessly to the PS4TM system while PS VR is connected, you'll experience only stereo or 7.1 Virtual Surround Sound.
Using your headset with a portable device
You can use an audio cable to connect your headset to the headphone jack of compatible devices. On PlayStation®Vita systems, you can listen to audio in standard stereo format
and use the voice chat feature. On other mobile devices, you can listen to audio in standard stereo format only.
Hints When the supplied audio cable is connected to your headset, the VSS/3D AUDIO
switch and the SOUND/CHAT buttons cannot be used. Output volume varies depending on the portable device that is connected. Adjust
volume accordingly. You can use the supplied audio cable to connect your headset to your mobile
device to listen to audio content and talk on the phone. If you are unable to hear audio content using the cable with your mobile device,
turn the headset power off. Your device may only support use of a standard audio cable (not included) to
listen to audio content using your headset. Note that standard audio cables do not support voice communication. This product is not compatible with all mobile devices. Some features may not work on all mobile devices.
Rating label
The rating label contains specific model, manufacture and compliance information. It is located under the right earcup cushion.
To remove the earpad and access the rating label:
1 Use one hand to hold the headset in place. 2 With your other hand, grip the earpad frame. 3 Pull the earpad out.
To replace the earpad, align the earpad with the inner frame. Push it back onto the frame until it clicks.

Charging your headset
When the remaining battery charge is low, the status indicator flashes red and you'll hear a beep. Charge the battery by connecting the headset to a supported USB device such as a PS4TM system. While the battery is charging, the status indicator is red. The status indicator turns off when the battery is fully charged.
Hints
You can view the remaining battery charge on the PS4TM system. It is shown on the status display that appears when you change the headset settings.
You might not be able to charge the battery if the USB device or the USB hub does not provide enough power for charging. Try connecting the headset to a different USB device or a different USB port on the device.
Charging takes approximately 3.5 hours when starting with no battery charge left. When the remaining battery charge is low, the headset beeps while it is
connected and receiving an audio signal. It is recommended that you charge the battery in an environment with a
temperature of 5 °C 35 °C (41 °F 95 °F). Charging in other environments might not be as effective. If you do not plan to use your headset for an extended period of time, it is recommended that you fully charge it at least once a year to help maintain battery functionality.

Headset Companion app
With the Headset Companion app, you can change the audio modes for your headset. You can choose from preset modes that have been specially designed for individual games and genres, or create your own audio modes. To get these audio modes, download the Headset Companion app from PlayStation®Store and follow the on-screen instructions. Once this process is complete, you can experience your selected mode on your headset by sliding the power/audio mode switch to either position 1 or 2.
Resetting your headset
If your headset does not respond when you try to operate it, reset it by doing the following:
1 Connect the wireless adaptor to a PS4TM system or other powered
USB port.

2 Insert a small pin or similar object into the hole surrounding the reset
button in the wireless adaptor, and push in for at least one second.
3 On the headset, hold down the MUTE button. 4 While still holding down the MUTE button, slide the power/audio mode
switch to position 1 or 2. If your headset still does not respond, you might need to restore your headset.
Restoring your headset
If you want to restore default audio modes with the latest device software, or if the status indicator flashes red repeatedly, you can try restoring the headset by doing the following.
1 On your PS4TMsystem, go to PlayStationTMStore and download the Headset
Companion app.
2 Start the app. 3 Select your headset if it is not automatically detected. 4 Press OPTIONS and select Restore Headset.
Follow the on screen instructions for restoring your headset.

1 Chargez le casque-micro en le branchant sur un port USB à l'aide du câble
USB fourni. Le casque-micro peut nécessiter jusqu'à 3,5 heures pour une recharge complète.
2 Insérez l'adaptateur sans fil dans le port USB de votre système PS4TM. 3 Glissez l'interrupteur d'alimentation/mode audio du casque-micro en
position 1 ou 2.
Utilisation du casque-micro avec le système PS4TM
Votre casque-micro est compatible avec le logiciel système PS4TM version 4.00 ou ultérieure. Plusieurs casques-micro peuvent être utilisés avec votre système PS4TM. Sélection de la sortie audio
Vous pouvez écouter de la musique, regarder des vidéos et jouer à des jeux depuis votre système PlayStation®4 avec le casque-micro sans fil. Selon le format du contenu, il peut s'agir d'un son stéréo, d'un son ambiophonique virtuel ou d'audio 3D.
Vous pouvez écouter simultanément le contenu audio des jeux et du clavardage. Vous pouvez ajuster le niveau sonore des jeux par rapport à celui du clavardage en utilisant les touches SOUND/CHAT.
Vous pouvez modifier les paramètres de sortie audio vers le casque-micro afin d'entendre uniquement le contenu audio du clavardage.
Vous pouvez modifier le format de sortie audio avec l'interrupteur VSS/AUDIO 3D.

Utilisation du casque-micro avec un ordinateur
Vous pouvez utiliser votre casque-micro avec un ordinateur (Windows® ou Mac OS) doté d'un port USB. Insérez l'adaptateur sans fil dans le port USB de l'ordinateur, puis allumez le casque-micro.

Utilisation du casque-micro avec PlayStation®VR
Vous pouvez utiliser un câble audio pour brancher votre casque-micro sur la prise d'entrée audio stéréo de la PlayStation®VR. Le son du jeu sera traité par le biais de la PlayStation®VR.
Remarque Si votre casque-micro est connecté sans fil à un système PS4TM lorsque la PS VR est connectée, seuls les formats stéréo et le son ambiophonique virtuel 7.1 seront offerts.
Utilisation du casque-micro avec un périphérique portable
Vous pouvez utiliser un câble audio pour brancher votre casque-micro sur la prise d'entrée pour écouteurs des périphériques compatibles.
Sur les systèmes PlayStation®Vita, vous pouvez écouter le contenu audio en format stéréo standard et utiliser la fonction de clavardage vocal.
Sur les autres périphériques mobiles, vous pouvez écouter le contenu audio en format stéréo standard uniquement.
Conseils
Lorsque le câble audio fourni est branché sur votre casque-micro, vous ne pouvez pas utiliser l'interrupteur VSS/AUDIO 3D ni les touches SOUND/CHAT.
Le volume de sortie varie en fonction du périphérique portable branché ou connecté. Ajustez le volume en conséquence.
Vous pouvez utiliser le câble audio fourni pour brancher votre casque-micro sur votre appareil mobile pour écouter du contenu audio ou parler au téléphone.
S'il vous est impossible d'entendre le contenu audio de votre appareil mobile avec le câble, éteignez le casque-micro.
Il se peut que votre périphérique soit compatible uniquement avec un câble audio standard (non inclus) afin d'écouter du contenu audio avec votre casque-micro. Veuillez noter que les câbles audio standards ne prennent pas en charge les communications vocales.
Ce produit n'est pas compatible avec tous les appareils mobiles. Certaines fonctions peuvent ne pas fonctionner sur certains appareils.
Étiquette de classification
L'étiquette de classification contient des informations précises sur le modèle, la fabrication et la conformité. Elle est située sous le coussinet de l'écouteur droit.
Pour retirer le coussinet et accéder à l'étiquette de classification :
1 Tenez le casque en place avec une main. 2 Avec votre autre main, tenez l'arceau de support de l'écouteur. 3 Retirez le coussinet de l'écouteur.
Pour remettre le coussinet en place, alignez-le avec l'intérieur de l'arceau de support, puis poussez-le jusqu'à ce qu'un clic se fasse entendre .
Application compagnon du casque-micro
Avec l'application compagnon du casque-micro, vous pouvez changer le mode audio de votre casque-micro et choisir parmi des modes préréglés spécialement conçus pour chaque jeu ou genre particulier, ou simplement créer vos propres modes audio.
Pour obtenir ces modes, il vous suffit de télécharger l'application compagnon du casque-micro à partir du PlayStation®Store et de suivre les instructions qui s'afficheront.
Une fois fait, vous pourrez profiter du mode choisi sur votre casque-micro en positionnant l'interrupteur d'alimentation/mode audio sur la position 1 ou 2.
Réinitialisation du casque-micro
Si votre casque-micro ne répond pas lorsque vous essayez de l'utiliser, réinitialisezle comme suit :
1 Branchez l'adaptateur sans fil à un système PS4TM ou à un autre
port USB alimenté.
Recharge du casque-micro

Lorsque la charge de la pile est basse, l'indicateur d'état clignote en rouge et un bip est audible. Chargez la pile en branchant le casque-micro sur un périphérique USB compatible, comme un système PS4TM. Pendant la charge de la pile, l'indicateur d'état demeure rouge. Il s'éteint lorsque la pile est entièrement rechargée.
Conseils
Vous pouvez vérifier le niveau de charge de la pile sur le système PS4TM. Celui-ci apparaît dans l'écran d'état qui s'affiche lorsque vous modifiez les paramètres du casque d'écoute.
Il se peut qu'il vous soit impossible de charger la pile si le périphérique USB ou le concentrateur USB ne fournit pas assez de puissance pour la charge. Essayez de brancher le casque-micro dans un autre périphérique USB ou dans un autre port USB du périphérique.
Une charge complète prend environ 3,5 heures.
Lorsque la charge restante de la pile est basse, le casque-micro émet un bip s'il est connecté et qu'il reçoit un signal audio.
Il est recommandé de charger la pile dans un environnement dont la température se situe entre 5 °C et 35 °C (41 °F et 95 °F). Effectuer une charge dans un autre type d'environnement peut s'avérer moins efficace.
Même si le casque-micro n'est pas utilisé pendant une période prolongée, il est conseillé de le charger complètement au moins une fois par an afin de maintenir le bon fonctionnement de la pile.

2 Insérez une épingle ou un objet semblable dans le trou de la touche de
réinitialisation de l'adaptateur sans fil, puis appuyez pendant au moins une seconde.
3 Sur le casque-micro, appuyez sur la touche MUTE et tenez-la enfoncée. 4 Toujours en tenant la touche MUTE enfoncée, faites basculer l'interrupteur
d'alimentation/mode audio à la position 1 ou 2.
Si votre casque-micro ne répond toujours pas, vous devez peut-être le restaurer.
Restaurer votre casque-micro
Si vous souhaitez restaurer les modes audio par défaut en utilisant la version la plus récente du logiciel du périphérique, ou si l'indicateur d'état clignote en rouge de façon répétée, vous pouvez essayer de restaurer le casque-micro en suivant les étapes ci-dessous.
1 Sur votre système PS4TM, allez à PlayStationTMStore et téléchargez
l'application compagnon du casque-micro.
2 Démarrez l'application. 3 Sélectionnez votre casque-micro s'il n'est pas détecté automatiquement. 4 Appuyez sur OPTIONS, puis sélectionnez Restaurer le casque-micro.
Suivez les instructions à l'écran pour restaurer votre casque-micro.
