iM internet of Mobilities
Introduction
What does iM provide?
iM has a unique communication function that can be used in both non-communicable areas and communicable areas with LoRa technology. It has significantly improved working distance compared to existing smart devices. iM uses GPS and sensing functions to check your child's location and real-time information about the situation of the vehicle. iM also has helpful built-in smart health functions.
What is LoRa?
LoRa (Long Range) is a low-power wide-area network (LPWAN) technology. It is a spread spectrum modulation technique derived from chirp spread spectrum (CSS) technology.
Service Architecture
The iM device works as a master and connects to a smartphone via Bluetooth. iM devices are connected by LoRa communication technology. Users can check the location and status of other devices with LoRa modules through the smartphone's mobile application. Information delivered through the iM device is sent to the server via the mobile application, which allows the devices to form a community (Cloud Service).
Diagram Description: The service architecture illustrates a smartphone connected via Bluetooth LE to an iM device. The iM device communicates via LoRa to other iM devices and a Cloud Service. Distances shown are 200 ft between Bluetooth LE and LoRa, and 0.5-4 mi for LoRa communication, with 'No limit' for the Cloud Service.

Mobile Application
Device Connection to Smartphone with BLE
To connect the device to a smartphone, click the right button on the device to enable BLE advertising. The smartphone app will then display a list of discoverable iM devices. The smartphone interface shows 'My device connection' with an iM Cover code and status information.
Transmit GPS (location) and Environment information
The iM app displays the device's current location on a map (GPS). It also shows environmental sensor data, including Temperature (e.g., 25°C/77°F), Humidity (e.g., 32.34%), and Barometric pressure (e.g., 1,024 hPa).
Pedometer
The device offers a pedometer service, tracking walking and running activities. It displays total steps, duration, and calories burned, along with specific lap data.
Direct Message and Smart Alerts
Users can communicate via direct messages, group messages, and smart alerts within a no-cell-coverage area. The iM device detects physical events like falls and impacts, sending notifications to the app. Pressing the emergency button on the device alerts friends. Example alerts include "Daughter002 has left the safety zone." and "iM Device has been impacted." Example messages include family communication like "Daughter, I put the chicken in the fridge. Heat it up in the air fryer when you get home~" and "Ah.. Thank you.", "Enjoy your meal ^^" The iM app also provides the latest location and location history for lost items, keeping users updated. It allows checking environmental factors (temperature, humidity, air pressure) and tracking walking/running duration and calories burned.
FCC Information
This device complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to two conditions: (1) This Device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) This device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for CLASS B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference when operated in a commercial environment. The equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy. If not installed and used according to instructions, it may cause harmful interference to radio communications. There is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If harmful interference to radio or television reception occurs, the user is encouraged to try correcting it by:
- 1.1. Reorienting or relocating the receiving antenna.
