Overview
The SOLSTOL lock allows users to easily secure cabinets and drawers using pre-paired key tags. It is designed to be mounted on most IKEA cabinets and drawers.

Important Information
- Suitable for cabinet doors and drawer fronts less than 30 mm thick.
- Not suitable for metal or glass cabinets and drawers.
Instructions for Use
Install the lock and lock-plate according to the product's assembly instructions. Ensure the lock's pin is not obstructed after installation. An obstructed pin will trigger a signal during locking/unlocking.
Before first use, insert batteries and verify that both pre-paired key tags function correctly. Note: Batteries are not included in the package.
To lock or unlock, hold the paired key tag near the reader. Using an unpaired key tag will result in a signal indicating this.
When batteries are low, the lock will signal a warning every 4 hours and with each lock/unlock operation. Replace batteries promptly. If batteries die before replacement, the lock will open automatically and remain open.
To reset the lock, press and hold the button for 10 seconds. This action will erase the pairing for all previously connected key tags.
Tip!
It is recommended to store one of the paired key tags in a secure location as a spare. Note: Spare key tags are not available for purchase at IKEA.
Using Other Type-A Key Tags (ISO/IEC 14443 Compliant)
Other Type-A key tags, such as library cards, membership cards, or public transport cards compliant with ISO/IEC 14443, can be used with the SOLSTOL lock. Up to 10 key tags can be paired with a single lock.
To add a new key tag: Press and hold the button for 2 seconds until an audible signal is heard. Then, hold the new key tag close to the reader. The lock will confirm successful pairing with an audible signal.
To remove all key tag pairings, reset the lock.
Warnings
- Discard the product if it is damaged.
- For indoor use only.
- Do not submerge in water or other liquids.
- Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the product.
- Do not use batteries that are low in charge or empty.
- Always insert batteries according to polarity indications (+/-).
- Risk of explosion if batteries are replaced with an incorrect type.
- Do not mix batteries of different capacities, types, or date stamps.
- Dispose of used batteries in accordance with local environmental regulations.
Care Instructions
To clean the product, wipe with a dry cloth.
Good to Know
- The lock can operate for approximately 24 months on a single set of batteries, assuming 2 x LADDA AA HR6 2450 mAh batteries are used and the lock is operated 3 times per day.
- Operating temperature: 0 °C to 40 °C (32 °F to 104 °F).
