1. RX Multifrequency Diagram
The diagram shows the Dieffematic RX Multifrequency receiver with the following components labeled:
- L1, L2: LEDs
- S1, S2: Switches (buttons)
- DIP Selector (1-8): Brand Selector
- JUMPER: For power input selection
- MEMORY CARD: Slot for memory card
- Terminals: For power and signal connections
2. Brand Selector
The receiver features an 8-position DIP switch for selecting the brand of the remote control. Table 1 provides the specific DIP switch combinations for various brands. Each channel can support up to 250 remotes.
3. Learn Button and LED
The RX Multifrequency receiver has two independent channels, each with a dedicated learn button (S1/S2) and an indicator LED (L1/L2). Both channels operate in a monostable mode, providing an active signal for approximately 3 seconds.
4. Power Input Selector
The receiver operates with an AC/DC power supply ranging from 9V to 30V. It is recommended to adjust the jumper based on the input voltage. For inputs over 24V, connect pins 2 & 3. For inputs less than 24V, connect pins 1 & 2. Ensure correct polarity when connecting pins 1 & 2 for voltages below 24V, as incorrect connection can damage the device.
5. Exchangeable Memory Card
The memory card can be removed and used in another receiver, allowing the transfer of learned remote controls without reprogramming. Refer to section 8 for the location of the memory card.
6. Programming a Button or Remote
- Select the DIP switch combination corresponding to the remote's brand, as detailed in Table 1.
- Press the learn button (S1 or S2) on the RX Multifrequency receiver; the corresponding LED will illuminate.
- Press the button on the remote control you wish to program. The LED on the RX Multifrequency receiver will flash for 5 seconds, indicating successful programming.
Repeat steps 2 and 3 for additional buttons or remotes.
7. Erase All Data from Memory Card
To erase all data, press and hold either button S1 or S2 for a few seconds until the LED becomes solid. Continue holding the button until the LED turns off. All data on the memory card will be permanently erased.
NOTICE: Be cautious when erasing data, as it is permanent and cannot be recovered.
