Overview
The Avigilon AI Appliance enhances site security and improves incident response times by enabling advanced video analytics on existing cameras. It addresses critical security gaps without costly hardware replacements, supporting up to 160 cameras and offering server-side analytics. The AI Appliance 2X CG3 model leverages the latest advancements in generative AI to improve situational awareness.

- Generative AI Ready: The AI-ready CG3 model will expand detection capabilities and simplify configuration using natural language prompts (coming soon in Avigilon Unity Video 8).

Server-Side Analytics Details
Classified Object Detection™ (COD)
Detects and classifies people or vehicles to help operators respond more quickly. Unusual Activity Detection (UAD) automatically detects atypical behavior of learned objects.
Avigilon Appearance Search™ (AS)
Quickly locate a specific person or vehicle of interest across an entire site using a sophisticated deep learning AI search engine.
Facial Recognition (FR)
Detects matches against watchlists to alert operators to persons of interest. Requires Appearance Search and an additional license.
Occupancy Counting
With cameras at entrances and exits, a cumulative real-time occupancy count can be monitored. Requires Unity Video Cloud services.
