Feast Watson Woodprep
AUFW00072 Feast Watson Woodprep
Introduction Part A 917-W0551
Description and Image Feast Watson Woodprep is a preparatory treatment for all exterior timber. Using Woodprep leads to a long lasting, evenly applied top-coat, as it helps to remove the surface contaminants such as oils and dirt which may otherwise affect how the final coating performs. On new timber, Woodprep helps to remove the tannins and oils. On weathered grey timber, Woodprep breaks down dead wood fibre and dirt, restoring the natural colour of the timber. Woodprep is suitable for wooden decks, outdoor furniture, weatherboards, windows, doors and fences.
Features and Benefits · Supplied as concentrate · Contains cleaning agents · Contains Oxalic acid · Dilute to suit timber condition · Cleans slippery, unsafe walkways · Removes water or metal-stains
Uses Use on exterior wooden decks, outdoor furniture, weatherboards, windows, doors and fences.
Precautions and Limitations Woodprep may cause erosion of some sealants and patching products. Test surface prior to application. Protect paintwork, plants and other surfaces with plastic sheeting or wet first and rinse off immediately after.

Application Guide
Surface Preparation
Sweep surface clean and thoroughly wash down with water.
WOODPREP may cause erosion of some sealants and patching products. Test surface prior to application. Protect paintwork, plants and other surfaces with plastic sheeting or wet first and rinse off immediately after.
Application Procedure and Equipment
Dilute WOODPREP in water by mixing one (1) part WOODPREP to four (4) parts water. Stir diluted mixture thoroughly. Apply WOODPREP by scrubbing into timber surface with a stiff bristle brush. Leave formula for approximately 20 minutes to penetrate the timber surface. Do not allow surface to dry. Prevent drying by wetting timber with a very light mist spray. After 20 minutes rinse thoroughly with a high-pressure water cleaner. For more stubborn or badly weathered areas, use a higher concentration of WOODPREP. Allow surface to dry completely before applying top coats.
