GX Works3 Version Upgrade
Mitsubishi Electric announces a version upgrade for GX Works3, available for download from the Mitsubishi Electric FA website. We encourage users to explore the new features.

Inquiry 1: What are the S/S terminals on the CPU and I/O units?
Answer: The S/S terminal is used to switch between sink and source input modes.
Inquiry 2: What should be wired to the S/S terminal?
Answer: For sink input using the service power supply, connect the S/S terminal to the 24V terminal. For source input, connect the S/S terminal to the 0V terminal. When using an external power supply, connect the S/S terminal to the +24V side (P side) for sink input, and to the -24V side (N side) for source input.

New FX5UC Spring Clamp Terminal Block Type

The Spring Clamp Terminal Block type for FX5UC CPU units and I/O units is launching soon. This new type simplifies wiring by eliminating the need for wire processing, enabling faster and easier connections.
What is a Spring Clamp Terminal Block?
This terminal block secures wire conductors using internal spring force. The consistent clamping pressure prevents wires from loosening due to vibration.
