Assembly Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Shade Fabric
A hand is shown threading the electrical cord through a designated loop on the fabric piece that will form the lampshade. The cord passes through a small opening.
Step 2: Shape the Lampshade
The fabric piece is being folded and creased to form the characteristic shape of the BÄCKNATE lampshade. Arrows indicate the folding direction.
Step 3: Insert Cable into Base
The electrical cord is fed into the cylindrical base of the lamp. An informational icon [info] is displayed next to a diagram showing the correct orientation for the cable entry into the base. A separate diagram, marked with a prohibition symbol [do not], illustrates an incorrect method.
Step 4: Attach Base Mounting Bracket
The base plate is shown. A mounting bracket is being attached to it using small screws. An informational icon [info] indicates that one screw (1x) is used for this attachment.
Step 5: Connect Shade to Base
The assembled lampshade structure is being connected to the base plate assembly. Arrows show the parts aligning and connecting. Close-up views detail how screws are inserted through holes to secure the components.
Step 6: Secure Lampshade Structure
The main lampshade structure is being firmly attached to the base assembly. A close-up view shows a component being pushed into place until it clicks, indicating a secure connection.
Step 7: Insert Lamp Holder
The lamp holder (socket) is being inserted into the top central part of the assembled lampshade structure. Arrows indicate a downward motion. Close-up views show a ring being fitted and secured around the lamp holder.
Step 8: Secure Lamp Holder
The lamp holder is being secured in place. A hand is shown inserting a screw (1x) through a hole to fasten it. An informational icon [info] highlights this step.
Step 9: Attach Shade to Lamp Holder
The main lampshade structure is being attached to the lamp holder assembly. Arrows show the shade being lowered onto the holder and rotated to connect securely.
Step 10: Install Light Bulb
A light bulb is shown being screwed into the lamp holder. The lampshade is being positioned over the bulb. Arrows indicate the downward movement of the shade and the bulb insertion.
