The plunger is drawn back to the desired cc for precision measurement on the syringe. Then, with a small twist, teeth on the lock bite into the plunger flanges and lock the plunger securely to the barrel holding the liposuction syringe under vacuum for precision fat extraction. 1 The Johnnie Lok fits onto the collar of the syringe barrel with the lettered side facing the bottom end of the syringe barrel. 2 Slip the Johnnie Lok onto the collar of the syringe barrel. 3 Push the Johnnie Lok all the way onto the collar until it seats. 4 Make sure the plunger is aligned properly so the teeth of the lock does not contact the flanges of the plunger when the Lok is slipped over the collar. 5 Pull back the plunger on the syringe to the desired cc of extraction. 6 Twist the plunger to lock the plunger flange into the toothed notch. The notch bites into the flange rendering the plunger immobile. 7 You may twist the plunger in either direction as there are notches for each side. Untwist to release.
