Introduction
Congratulations on the purchase of your new SilverCrest SSVF 38 A1 pedestal fan. This user manual is an integral part of the product and contains important information for safety, use, and disposal. Please read all instructions carefully before use.
Safety Instructions
DANGER! Indicates a high risk of danger that, if not avoided, can result in severe injury or death.

CAUTION! Indicates a low risk of danger that, if not avoided, can result in minor or moderate injuries.

Electrical Safety: Always switch off and unplug the product before cleaning or maintenance. Never immerse electrical parts in water or other liquids.
Choking Hazard: Keep packaging materials away from children.
General Safety: Use the product only in dry indoor areas. Do not insert fingers into the grille. Keep hands, hair, clothing, and other objects away from the safety grille during operation.
Parts Description
The product includes:
- Motor unit (with speed buttons, grille lock nut, and locking screw)
- Cross base (with screws)
- Blade lock nut
- Extension tube and lower tube (with height adjustment lock and tube cover)
- Front grille (with lock nut and locking screw)
- Rear grille
- Blade
- Tube cover
- Cross base
- Screw for cross base (M6 x 14 mm) (x4)
- Locking screw and lock nut
- Power cord with mains plug (pre-assembled)
Assembly
Step 1: Base Assembly
- Loosen the 4 locking screws (15) from the cross base (14).
- Place the two parts of the cross base (14) on the floor so they form a cross shape.
- Use the 4 locking screws (15) to secure the base.
Step 2: Height Adjustment
- Remove the tube cover (13) from the lower tube (12).
- Loosen the height adjustment lock (11) on the extension tube (10) by turning counter-clockwise.
- Pull out the extension tube (10).
- Place the lower tube (12) onto the cross base (14).
- Insert the tube cover (13) into the lower tube (12) until it touches the floor.
- Tighten the height adjustment lock (11) to the desired height.
Step 3: Grille Assembly
- Loosen the grille lock nut (4) from the motor unit (6).
- Attach the rear grille (5) to the motor unit (6).
- Use the grille lock nut (4) to secure it.
- Open the 4 grille clips of the front grille (1).
- Loosen the locking screw and lock nut (16) from the front grille (1).
- Hook the suspension of the front grille (1) into the rear grille (5).
- Insert the locking screw (16) and tighten the lock nut (16). Close the 4 grille clips on the grille frame.
Step 4: Blade Installation
- Place the blade (3) onto the motor shaft (6a).
- Use the blade lock nut (2) to secure it.
Step 5: Attaching the Motor Unit
- Place the motor unit (6) with the speed control panel (8) onto the extension tube (10).
- Align the hole with the rear.
- Use the locking screw (9) to secure it.
Operation
Fan Speed: Use the speed control panel (8) to turn the fan on/off and adjust the speed:
- Position 0: Off
- Position 1: Low speed
- Position 2: Medium speed
- Position 3: High speed
Oscillation: Set the oscillation control (7):
- Pulled out: Oscillation during operation is OFF.
- Pressed in: Oscillation during operation is ON.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Before cleaning, press '0' on the speed control panel (8) and unplug the mains plug (17). Clean the product with a slightly damp cloth. Do not allow water or other liquids to enter the motor unit (6). Never remove the front grille (1) or rear grille (5). Clean the grilles only with a vacuum cleaner and a slightly damp cloth.
Storage
When not in use, store the product in its original packaging in a dry place out of reach of children.
Disposal
The packaging is made of recyclable materials. Dispose of it through local recycling facilities. The product and its packaging are recyclable; dispose of them separately for better waste treatment. For disposal options, contact your local municipality.
Warranty
This product comes with a 3-year warranty from the date of purchase. Keep your original receipt as proof of purchase. The warranty covers material and manufacturing defects. It does not cover parts subject to normal wear and tear, or damage caused by improper use or maintenance.
