We understand that you and your little one are eager to get going, but before you do - make sure that you read through this user manual in order to properly assemble the 16" bike. Brake adjustement
To change side of the brakes on the Cake Trapp is an easy fix.
- Start with screwing in the adjusters on the brake levers as much as possible by screwing the inner ring (1) out and after that screwin in the whole adjustment unit (2).

Brake adjuster

Push the brake together (1) and while compressed pull the silver loop (2) back and lift it out of the brake (3) to release the brake.

Adjust the brake adjuster on the handlebar so that the two slots in the adjuster align with the slot in the lever (1)
Pull the housing out of the adjuster and slide the wire thru the slot to free the brake cable (2)
Repeat process for both brakes.

Take the loose wire and housing from the Right brake and slide the wire stop in to the left handle (1)
Slide the wire thru the slot in the lever and adjuster. Adjust the adjuster so that the slots miss align and push in the housing in the adjuster (2)

Slide the cable stop in to the lever and thru the slot

Miss align the adjuster and push in the housing

Compress the brake arms again and position the silver loop in the brake arm (1)
Slide in the silver loop while still compressed and once in position let go of the brake arms to put tension on the system again. (2)
Check brake function and adjust tension on brake adjuster at brake lever if needed.
Repeat for both brakes
