The lightning flash with arrowhead symbol, within an equilateral triangle is intended to alert the user to the presence of uninsulated "dangerous voltage" within the product's enclosure that may be of sufficient magnitude to constitute a risk of electric shock to persons. [High Voltage Warning]
The exclamation point within an equilateral triangle is intended to alert the user to the presence of important operating and maintenance (servicing) instructions in the literature accompanying the appliance. [Important Information]
WARNING: TO REDUCE THE RISK OF FIRE OR ELECTRIC SHOCK, DO NOT EXPOSE THIS APPLIANCE TO RAIN OR MOISTURE.
CAUTION: To reduce the risk of electrical shocks, fire, etc.:
- 1. Do not remove screws, covers or cabinet.
- 2. Do not expose this appliance to rain or moisture.
Caution – Power Switch! Disconnect the AC adapter to shut the power off completely. The power switch in any position does not disconnect the mains line.
General Cautions
- Read all the safety and operating precautions thoroughly before use.
- Retain these instructions for future reference.
- All warnings and cautions should be carefully observed.
- Disconnect the AC adapter in the event of accident. Should an accident occur (e.g., smoking, abnormal smell, sound, dropped or damaged), disconnect the AC adapter from the AC outlet and consult your dealer immediately.
- Disconnect from the AC outlet if anything gets inside. Otherwise, it may cause a fire or an electrical shock.
- Do not repair the system by yourself. Never modify the system. Otherwise, it may cause a fire or an electrical shock. There are no user serviceable parts inside.
- Never connect to the AC power of different voltage. Never use any AC adapter other than the one supplied. Otherwise, it may cause a fire or an electrical shock.
- Do not use the system in places where water can splash on it, such as a bathroom, shower room, or kitchen. Otherwise, it may cause a fire or an electrical shock.
- Never use the AC adapter when the AC plug is dirty. Clean it with a dry cloth, or ask your dealer for service; otherwise, it may cause a fire or an electrical shock.
- Do not operate or leave the system: 1) in an area constantly exposed to direct sunlight, 2) near a heat source, 3) in a dusty, humid, or water/smoke exposed area, 4) in a car.
- Never place the system on an unstable place such as a shaky desk, inclined surface, or on a high place.
- Never place anything on top of the system.
- Disconnect the AC adapter when not in use.
- Do not place magnetic media near the system. Even though the speakers are magnetically shielded, they may affect the media and make it unreadable.
- Never pull out the cords. When disconnecting the AC adapter, hold the adapter itself, not the cord. When disconnecting other cords, hold the plug, not the cable.
- Never put anything heavy on the cord, and never break or hurt the cord; otherwise, it may cause malfunction, an electrical shock, or a fire.
Connection and Setup
Connection Diagram Description
Rear View (Right Speaker): Features connections for Home Docking Cradle for JVC Sirius tuner, ANT, DC 12V, FM OUT, AUDIO R, and CE marking.
Rear View (Left Speaker): Features DC IN and L SPKR (Left Speaker) jack, and CE marking.
Front View (Right Speaker): Features AUDIO OUTPUT (Green connector) with a Green plug (stereo mini: 3.5 mm).

Connections Summary:
- Left Speaker Cord: Connects from the Left Speaker's L SPKR jack (brown connector, mini 2.5 mm plug) to the Right Speaker's L SPKR jack.
- Line Input Cord: Connects from the Right Speaker's AUDIO OUTPUT (green plug, 3.5 mm) to your audio source.
- AC Adapter: Connects to the DC IN jack on the Left Speaker and to an AC outlet (AC 120 V, 60 Hz).
Setup Instruction: After completing all other connections, plug in the AC adapter.
Using the Speaker System
- Connect the speakers and AC adapter as shown in the connection diagram.
- Turn the power switch knob clockwise to turn the power on. A click sound is heard, and the power lamp lights up in green.
- Turn the power switch knob further to obtain the optimum sound level. If the sound level is not sufficient even when the knob is turned fully clockwise, increase the output level of the signal source as it may be set too low.
- When using headphones, plug them into the headphone jack. No sound will come out of the speakers. Turn the knob fully counterclockwise before connecting the headphones to avoid damaging the speakers and your ears.
- To turn off the speakers, turn the power switch knob fully counterclockwise. Never turn it on or off by any other means to ensure safe operation of the speakers.
Maintenance
If cleaning is required, disconnect the AC adapter from the AC outlet and wipe the unit with a soft cloth.
For removing heavy stains, use a cloth moistened with a neutral detergent. Do not use inflammable or harmful fluids such as benzine or thinner.
