A MaxContact heat spreader efficiently transfers heat into a new 2.7-slot heatsink. Three Axial-tech fans work in tandem to direct airflow through the entire array, ensuring tight temperature control.

Axial-Tech Upgrades
TUF Gaming cards utilize the Axial-tech fan design with three fans working together to meet the thermal demands of NVIDIA's high-octane GPUs. Dual ball fan bearings ensure consistent performance and increased longevity compared to sleeve bearings.
New Directions
The fans are optimized with a reversed rotation for the center fan to reduce turbulence, and a fan-stop mode activates when GPU temperature falls below 55 degrees Celsius.

It's Cooler Out Back
The rear features a protective metal backplate with a wide vent. This vent allows hot air to escape towards chassis exhaust fans, preventing recirculation into the GPU cooler. A bracket beneath the GPU ensures consistent mounting pressure. A Dual BIOS switch allows for easy customization of the card's default performance profile without software.

Dual ball fan bearings offer superior durability in tough conditions. Top-shelf capacitors that pass military-grade certification contribute to enhanced product longevity.
