  • Punctured evaporators and lack of cleaning (e.g., blocked gas jets).
  • Parts not original manufacturer's parts.
  • Operation at incorrect voltage.
  • No Fault Found.
  • Scratches and chips to ceramic hob glass surface due to inappropriate cooking utensils.
  • Noise, vibration or steam resulting from operation (including steam from washer, dryer, dishwasher, ovens, oven fans, drain pumps).
  • Use in a non-domestic environment, second-hand, or by multiple people in communal areas. A service charge may apply for non-mechanical or electrical manufacturing faults.

Guarantee Exclusions:

  • Transit/delivery damage or cold weather damage.
  • Incorrect installation: Ensure connection to mains electricity, gas, and water is correct and safe, following the instruction manual. Gas appliances require a qualified Gas Safe (or BORD GAIS) installer. LPG conversions require certification. Electric cooking products, washing machines, and dishwashers should be installed by a qualified plumber/electrical installer.
  • Repair or interference by any person not authorized by the manufacturer.
  • Improper use or abuse.
  • Accidental damage.
  • Reversal of door or door handles on cooling appliances.
  • Repair or replacement of cosmetic or consumable parts (bulbs, plugs, fuses, cables, filters, attachments, control knobs, flaps, container lids, handles, glass, wire shelves, rubber hoses, plastic door shelves, oven baking trays, shelves). This includes parts worn, discolored, or damaged by incorrect use or cleaning.

Installation

  • Product must be installed and connected according to statutory installation rules.
  • Install on a level surface to prevent spillage.
  • Install in a position where the oven door can be opened freely.
  • Do not install next to refrigerators or freezers, as heat emitted will increase cooling appliance energy consumption.
  • Carry the product with at least two persons.
  • Product must be placed directly on the floor, not on a base or pedestal.
  • Do not use the door and/or handle to carry or move the product to avoid damage.
  • Install away from inflammable materials.
  • Ensure main voltage matches the rating plate details.
  • Before connecting, ensure all knobs are set to the [Off Position] (0).
  • Ensure nothing is inside the oven. Turn the oven gas control knob to [Max Position] and after the flame ignites, continue pressing for a few seconds to allow the sensor to detect heat. Otherwise, the sensor will automatically stop gas flow.
  • Allow this operation to run for 10 minutes, then turn off the oven by turning the knob back to the [Off Position] (0).
  • During this operation, a temporary smell and smoke may occur due to protective grease on the burner; this is normal and will dissipate.
  • Ensure the room is well ventilated during this operation.
  • Once the cooker has cooled down, clean it by wiping with a damp cloth or sponge.

Stabilizing on uneven floors: Get two people to work together. One person tilts the cooker while the other adjusts the screw-in feet until the cooker is level and stable.

Electrical Connection

Connect the product to a grounded outlet/line protected by a fuse of suitable capacity as stated in the "technical specifications" table. Have the grounding installation made by a qualified electrician. The company is not liable for damages arising from using the product without proper grounding.

DANGER: The product must be connected to the mains supply only by an authorized and qualified person. Warranty starts after correct installation. Manufacturer not responsible for damages from unauthorized procedures.

DANGER: The power cable must not be clamped, bent, trapped, or come into contact with hot parts. A damaged power cable must be replaced by a qualified electrician to avoid risk of electric shock, short circuit, or fire.

Mains supply data must correspond to the data specified on the type label. The rating plate is visible when the door or lower cover is opened, or located at the rear wall.

Power cable must comply with values in the "Technical specifications" table.

DANGER: Before starting any electrical work, disconnect the product from the mains supply. Risk of electric shock!

Connecting the Power Cable:

  1. If a power cable is not supplied, select one from the table according to your home's electrical installation and connect it following the cable diagram.
  2. This product must only be installed by a qualified electrician (e.g., local electricity company or NICEIC registered contractor) to a suitable double-pole control unit with a minimum contact clearance of 3mm in all poles and with a minimum rating (consider technical data table). The unit should be fitted adjacent to the cooker, in accordance with IEE regulations. Failure to observe this may result in operational problems and warranty invalidation.
  3. DANGER: Additional protection by a residual current circuit breaker is recommended.
  4. Open the terminal block cover with a screwdriver.
  5. Insert the power cable through the cable clamp below the terminal and secure it to the main body with the integrated screw on the cable clamping component.
  6. Connect the cables according to the supplied diagram.
  7. After completing wire connections, close the terminal block cover.
  8. Route the power cable so it does not contact the product or get squeezed between the product and the wall.

CAUTION: ENSURE THE APPLIANCE IS DISCONNECTED FROM THE POWER SUPPLY (SWITCHED OFF) BEFORE CLEANING OR REPLACING THE OVEN LAMP TO AVOID ELECTRIC SHOCK.

The oven door is removable for easy cleaning. Open the door completely, flip up the hinge catch on both sides, grasp the door with both hands, raise slightly, and pull it backwards. Re-engage hinge catches after placing the door back.

To extend appliance life, take regular care and keep the oven door open until the oven is completely dry.

Remove spills from the lid and hob surface before closing the lid. Allow to cool.

Avoid pouring water on the appliance during operation. Avoid contact with acid or alkaline substances (vinegar, lemon juice, salt). If contact occurs, wipe and clean immediately, paying attention to hot parts.

General Warranty Conditions

This appliance is under warranty covering only the replacement of defective parts and free repair during the warranty period. Keep your receipt for service booking.

Connection and installation must be carried out by authorized service personnel.

This appliance must be grounded.

Problems due to improper installation are not covered by the warranty. Unauthorized repair or modification invalidates the warranty.

Information Concerning Disposal

Disposal of Packaging:

Packaging protects the appliance during transit. Utilized materials are environmentally safe and recyclable. Please dispose of packaging in an environmentally friendly manner. Ask your dealer or local authority about current disposal methods.

Disposal of Your Old Appliance:

Old appliances contain valuable raw materials that can be reclaimed by recycling. This appliance is identified according to European guideline 2012/19/EU on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE). The directive specifies the framework for EU-wide return and re-use of old appliances. Compliant with WEEE Regulations.

Operation and Functions of Electric Hobs

  • Use pots and pans with a flawless, even bottom and appropriate diameter. Heat-proof glass, crockery, or china can also be used. Pyrex is suitable if it matches the ceramic hob size.
  • Uneven or too-small pot bottoms waste energy and prevent maximum heat achievement.
  • Cooking surface and pot bottom must always be clean and dry.
  • Do not use pots made of plastic, china, enamel, or aluminum foil.
  • If plastic, aluminum foil, sugar, or dishes containing sugar melt on the hot ceramic hob, remove them immediately using a scraper.
  • For cleaning, use NO SCRATCH-PRODUCING sponges, scouring powders, or chemically aggressive cleaning agents.
  • Do not scratch the glass plate or hot plates with pointed or sharp objects.
  • Heating zones are regulated by control knobs for varying heat. Choose the correct hot plate/zone size for your pans for maximum efficiency. Switch to [Off Position] (0) when cooking is completed.
  • Turn the appliance off in time to save energy.

Special Instructions for Glass Plates (Vitro Ceramic Hobs):

  • Never scratch glass plates with pointed or sharp objects.
  • Glass plates can break if a falling object lands on the surface.
  • Residual heat indicators show a risk of burning and residual heat for keeping dishes warm.
  • Special cleaning pastes for glass plates (ceramic hobs) are available on the market.

Maintenance and Cleaning

  • Disconnect the appliance from mains power before maintenance and cleaning.
  • Wait until the appliance completely cools down.
  • Clean with a damp cloth or sponge only.
  • Never use abrasive powder.
  • Do not use harsh abrasive cleaners or sharp metal scrapers on the oven door glass, as they can scratch the surface and cause shattering.
  • Steam cleaners must not be used.
  • Enamelled parts can be cleaned with soapy water and a soft clean cloth.
  • Do not scrape dirt off the control panel with sharp tools that may scratch.

Connection

The specification and type of power cord must be according to current UK installation regulations. Your installer will advise and/or supply this.

IMPORTANT SAFETY ADVICE:

This cooker comes with a safety chain which must be fitted securely to a wall to avoid the risk of tipping. Use the fixing kit provided (found inside the oven). The manufacturer accepts no responsibility for injury or damage if the safety chain is not fitted.

ATTENTION:

  • Do not place cooking utensils (baking tin, pan, drip tray) or aluminum foil at the bottom of the oven, as this can damage the enamel surface due to high temperature.
  • The appliance becomes hot during use. Avoid touching heating elements inside the oven.
  • Warning: Accessible parts may become hot during use. Keep young children away. The oven can be used as a grill with the door open.
  • Cleaning: Switch off the oven before removing the guard. Replace the guard according to instructions.
  • Lamp for illumination: Switch off the appliance before replacing/cleaning the lamp to avoid electric shock.
  • Install using a suitable mains cable in accordance with British standards.
  • For models with a storage drawer: The internal bottom surface of the storage drawer gets very hot. Be careful.

Control Panel

The oven heat is adjustable between minimum and maximum using the thermostat control knob. The signal lamp indicates heater operation; it turns off when the desired temperature is reached. The thermostat maintains the temperature. It is advised to pre-heat the oven for five minutes. The inner oven lamp illuminates when an oven control knob is used to select a function.

When automatic cooking is completed, a buzzer alarm is heard and will sound for 7 minutes if not stopped.

Timer Controls:

This electronic timer allows you to set a ready time for food or use it as an alarm clock.

Power Up:

On power up, the clock displays "0:00" and [Symbol A] flashes. The timer cannot be programmed until the clock is adjusted. Enter manual mode first.

Manual Mode:

Press the [Function Button] (F) or press [Plus Button] (+) and [Minus Button] (-) simultaneously to enter manual mode.

Time of Day Adjustment:

This adjustment can only be made when no cooking program is in progress. Press [Plus Button] (+) and [Minus Button] (-) simultaneously. Adjust the clock forward using the [Plus Button] (+) and backward using the [Minus Button] (-). Long presses result in fast changes.

Note: If buttons are not pressed for 5 seconds, the adjustment mode ends automatically. Pressing both [Plus Button] (+) and [Minus Button] (-) simultaneously will exit faster.

Adjusting the Buzzer Alarm:

Program the time after which you want a buzzer warning.

  1. Select buzzer adjustment by pressing the [Function Button] (F) once. The [Symbol A] icon will flash.
  2. Enter the desired time period using the [Plus Button] (+) or [Minus Button] (-). Example: 5 minutes.
  3. After a few seconds, the screen returns to displaying the current time.

Cancelling the Buzzer Sound:

The buzzer will sound after the programmed time. Press any button to cancel the sound.

Automatic Cooking Program:

To start cooking immediately, set the cooking time. Example: To cook food for 2 hours and 15 minutes:

  1. Current time is displayed (e.g., 18:30).
  2. Press the [Function Button] (F) twice to enter cooking adjustment mode.
  3. Adjust the cooking time using the [Plus Button] (+) and [Minus Button] (-).

To set a ready time: Press the [Function Button] (F) 3 times. The screen displays "End" and the ready time (e.g., 18:30 + 2:15 = 20:45). Set the desired ready time using [Plus Button] (+) or [Minus Button] (-). After a few seconds, the screen switches to the clock display.

If the cooking time was preprogrammed (e.g., 2 hours 15 minutes), the oven will start cooking at a time that ensures the food is ready at the set ready time (e.g., start at 19:15 for a 21:30 ready time).

Switching off the Electric Oven:

  1. Switch the oven timer to the [Off Position].
  2. Turn the Function knob to [Off Position].

How to Operate the Top Oven (Upper and Lower Heater):

This function cooks with both upper and lower heaters simultaneously. Operate using the Function knob. The oven turns off when the Function knob is in the [Off Position].

  1. Close the oven door.
  2. Set the oven temperature. The temperature light turns off when the set temperature is attained.

Turning off the Oven:

Turn the Function knob to the [Off Position].

How to Operate the Top Grill:

Grill is operated with the Function knob. Grill turns off when the Function knob is in the [Off Position].

  1. Open the oven/grill door.
  2. Set the temperature to "[Max]" and, if required, preheat for about 5 minutes.
  3. Then, select the desired grilling temperature. The thermostat light turns on.

Turning off the Oven (Grill):

Turn the function knob to the [Off Position].

Grill Operation:

When using the grill function, open the oven door and attach the heat deflection panel (supplied) to the door. This prevents damage to the control panel and overheating of control knobs. The oven door will stay slightly open during grilling. The double power heater operates. This provides a charcoal-cooked taste.

It is advised to pre-heat the grill for 5 to 10 minutes.

To prevent sticking, place meat, chicken, or fish on an oiled grid on the upper oven shelf, with another tray on the lower shelf to collect dripping fats or oil.

Grill guard should be used when grilling! Set oven door partially open and insert grill guard!

Installation (Gas)

This appliance must be installed by a suitably qualified gas safe registered gas installer to standard BS 6172: 2010. Failure to do so will invalidate your warranty.

The electrical cable should not touch the hot parts of the appliance.

The electrical cable should not be routed through any area that may be affected by heat from the oven, especially the area directly behind the oven.

This appliance must be installed in full accordance with national standards and regulations; please refer to national and local instructions.

This appliance must be installed on a level surface to prevent spillage.

Install the appliance in a position where the oven door can be opened freely.

Install the appliance away from inflammable materials.

After installing the cooker, ensure all knobs are in the [Off Position] (0).

Ensure there is nothing inside the oven. First, turn the oven gas control knob to [Max Position]. After the flame ignites, continue pressing the knob for a few seconds. This allows the sensor to sense heat; otherwise, the sensor will automatically stop the gas flow to the burners.

Allow this operation to run for 10 minutes, then turn off the oven by turning the knob back to the [Off Position] (0).

During this operation, a temporary smell and form of smoke will occur due to protective grease on the burner. This is normal and will go away when the oven is used.

During this operation, ensure that the room is well ventilated.

Once you are sure that your cooker is totally cooled down, clean the cooker by wiping it with a damp cloth or sponge.
