Welcome to TOPTRO Lifetime Professional Support.
TIPS
- Do not place the projector in extreme temperatures. The optimal working environment is between 5°C and 35°C.
- Ensure ventilation is unobstructed. Do not cover vents or insert objects into the projector's slots to prevent short circuits or electric shock.
- Protect the projector from strong impacts, extrusion, and vibrations to avoid internal circuit damage.
- Clean the lens with a soft cotton cloth. Avoid hard cloths or abrasives.

Projector Overview
The projector has the following components:
- 1. Projector Lens: Optical coated glass lens
- 2/7. IR window: Infrared signal receiver
- 3. Power Cord Port: Insert the power cord
- 4. Headphone Jack: 3.5mm Headphone Output
- 5. HDMI Ports: HDMI input
- 6. USB Ports: USB 1 port / USB 2 port
- 8. Detachable Dust Filter: Clean the dust (if the screen has a black spot)
- 9. Vent: Prevent the projector from overheating
- 10. Manual focus-: Adjust it and get the clearest image
- 11. Power button: Turn on/off the power
- 12. Manual focus+: Adjust it and get the clearest image
- 13. Projector Mount Hole: Fix the projector with a tripod (1/4 inch screw)
- 14. Bottom label: Nameplate on the bottom of the projector
Remote Control
The remote control has the following buttons:
- 1. Power: Turn on/off the power
- 2. Up Arrow: Back to the main menu
- 3. Menu: Pull up the Menu
- 4. Volume Up: Increase volume
- 5. Volume Down: Decrease volume
- 6. Navigation Arrows (<, >, Up, Down): Used to adjust parameters in the menu mode
- 7. Play/Pause: Play and Pause media
- 8. Source: Select the input signal source
- 9. Mute: Close the sound
- 10. Settings: Make system settings
- 11. Back: Return to the previous menu
- 12. F+: Manual focus+
- 13. F-: Manual focus-
Installation
1. Installation Method
The projector can be placed on a stable desk for projection. There are two methods:
- 1. Front Projection Table mount
- 2. Rear Projection Table mount
2. Projection Distance and Size

The recommended projection distance is about 5.9ft. Image size may vary by ±3% due to distance and settings.
Starting Projector
- Turn on: Connect the power cable. When the red indicator is on, press the power button on the panel or remote control. The indicator turns from red to blue.
- Turn off: Press the power button. The indicator turns from blue to red.
Image Adjustment
1. Electric Focus Adjustment
Place the projector lens perpendicular to the screen. Use the F+/F- keys on the remote or panel to adjust focus until the image is clear. If the image is still blurry, adjust the projection distance.
Setting Up the Projector
The projector's home page includes options for Media, Source, Setting, TV, DLNA, Airplay, Miracast, and Support.
1. Select The Input Signal Source
Select the desired input signal source (USB/HDMI) from the home page. If you connect external devices like a TV box, Fire TV Stick, DVD Player, USB flash disk, or computer, ensure the correct signal source is selected. Otherwise, the projector will display 'no signal'.
Warm Tips for USB Disk:
- Ensure your USB disk is formatted as FAT32 (8G/16G/32G) or NTFS (64G).
- If the projector doesn't recognize the USB disk, format it to FAT32. Back up any important data before formatting.
- To format a USB disk to FAT32: Plug it into a computer, right-click the drive in File Explorer, choose Format, select FAT32 as the file system, and click Start.

2. Multimedia Play
2.1 USB Disk Input Mode
- Insert the USB flash disk into the projector's USB port.
- Select "Media" from the home page and press "OK".
- Choose the file type (Movie/Music/Photo/Text).
- Select the desired file or folder and press "OK" to play.
2.2 Play Interface
Press "OK" to access the playback interface. The interface includes controls for Play/Pause, Fast Backward (FB), Fast Forward (FF), Previous (Prev), Next, Stop, Repeat Mode, Set A/B, Playlist, Info, Slow Forward, Step Forward, Go to Time, Zoom+, Zoom-, and Aspect Ratio.
3. WiFi Setting
Wireless Connection Tips:
- Screen mirroring fluency depends on network environment; 100Mbit bandwidth or higher is recommended.
- Keep your mobile device close to the projector (within 1 meter) for wireless connection.
- Some mobile devices may not support screen mirroring due to compatibility issues.

3.1 iOS Cast (for iOS Devices)
- From the home page, select [Setting] > [WiFi].
- Select your home WiFi from the list and connect the TR25 projector.
- Go back to the home page, select [Airplay], and press "OK".
- On your iOS device, go to [Settings] > [Wi-Fi] and connect to the same home network as the projector.
- Open the [Control Center] on your iOS device, select [Screen Mirroring], and connect to the receiver named [TR25-Airplay-XXXX]. Your iOS screen will be displayed on the projector after 3 seconds.
3.2 Miracast (for Android Devices)
- From the home page, select [Miracast] and press "OK".
- On your Android device, go to [Settings] > [Screen mirroring] (or similar function like WLAN Display, Smart View).
- Select your Miracast receiver named [TR25-Miracast-XXXX]. Your Android screen will be displayed on the projector after 3 seconds.
- On your Android device, tap [Settings] > [WLAN Display] > Turn [Wi-Fi] ON and connect to your home WiFi.
Note for Android: Different Android phone brands may have slightly different steps for screen mirroring. Refer to your phone's manual. Not all Android phones support this function.
3.3 DLNA (Software with TV Icon)
- From the home page, select [Setting] > [WiFi], connect to your home WiFi.
- Go back to the home page, select [DLNA], and press "OK".
- Open your video player software.
- Click the TV icon, select and connect the projector name.
- The mobile phone can exit the video player software playback interface, and the projector will continue to play.
Bluetooth Setting
From the home page, select [Setting] > [Bluetooth]. Scan for nearby Bluetooth devices, select the desired device, and it will pair and connect automatically.
Note: The TR25 projector is compatible with Bluetooth headsets, speakers, and Airpods, but not Bluetooth keyboards or phones. Contact service@toptro.com for any questions.
Projector Setting
5.1 Picture Menu
From the home page, select [Setting] > [Picture]. Use the arrow keys to navigate and "OK" to confirm and set options like Picture Mode, Contrast, Brightness, Color, Sharpness, Color Temperature, and Noise Reduction.
5.2 Sound Menu
From the home page, select [Setting] > [Sound]. Use the arrow keys to navigate and "OK" to confirm and set options like Sound Mode, Treble, Bass, and Auto Volume.
5.3 Option Menu (ZOOM & Keystone correction)
From the home page, select [Setting] > [Option]. Use the arrow keys to navigate and "OK" to confirm and set options like OSD Language, Aspect Ratio, Restore Factory Default, Projection Mode, Software Update (USB), Version, Projection zoom, and Keystone Correction.
Signal Lines Connection
The TOPTRO TR25 projector has 3 interfaces: HDMI port*1, USB port*2, and a 3.5mm headphone output. Connect your devices accordingly.
1. Connect USB Disk
- Insert the USB disk into the USB input port.
- From the home page, select [Movie/Music/Photo/TEXT].
- Select the desired file or folder and press "OK" to play.
2. Connect the Devices via the HDMI port
- Connect your Fire TV stick, PC, TV box, PS4, etc., to the projector's HDMI port.
- From the home page, select the corresponding HDMI as the signal source.
3. Connect to the DVD Player
- Turn on your DVD player and the projector.
- Connect them using the HDMI cable.
- Select the corresponding HDMI as the signal source from the home page.
Note: If there is no sound when connected via HDMI, the DVD player's HDMI output signal might not be HDCP compatible. Try connecting a soundbar/speaker.
4. Connect to the Sound bar/Speaker
If your speaker has an AUX port, use a 3.5mm audio cable to connect the projector and speaker.
5. Connect to the Computer
- Connect the computer and projector with the included HDMI cable.
- Select the HDMI source to project your computer's files.
- On your laptop, hold down the "Win+P" keys to change the display mode (Computer only, Duplicate, Extend, Projector only).
