IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
The manual contains important safety and operating instructions for the REDLITHIUM USB charger catalogue no. L4 PPS and battery catalogue no. L4B2, L4B3.
Charge only REDLITHIUM USB batteries in the REDLITHIUM USB charger. Other types of batteries may cause personal injury and damage.
Before using the battery and charger, read the operator's manual, your tool operator's manual, and all labels on the battery pack, charger, and tool.
Use only with listed/certified ITE power supply. Other power supplies may result in a risk of fire, electric shock, or personal injury.
Avoid dangerous environments. Do not charge the battery pack in rain, snow, damp, or wet locations. Do not use the battery pack or charger in the presence of explosive atmospheres (gaseous fumes, dust, or flammable materials) because sparks may be generated when inserting or removing battery pack, possibly causing fire.
Charge in a well-ventilated area. Do not block the charger vents. Keep them clear to allow proper ventilation. Do not allow smoking or open flames near a charging battery. Vented gases may explode.
Maintain the cord. When unplugging the charger, pull the plug rather than the cord to reduce the risk of damage to the electrical plug and cord. Never carry the charger by its cord. Keep the cord from heat, oil, and sharp edges. Make sure that the cord will not be stepped on, tripped over, or subjected to damage or stress. Do not use the charger with a damaged cord or plug. Have a damaged charger replaced immediately.
Use only recommended attachments. The use of an attachment not recommended or sold by the battery charger or battery manufacturer may result in a risk of fire, electric shock, or personal injury.
To reduce the risk of electric shock, always unplug the charger before cleaning or maintenance.

Do not burn or incinerate the battery packs. Battery packs may explode, causing personal injury, or damage. Toxic fumes and materials are created when battery packs are burned.
Do not crush, drop, or damage the battery pack. Do not use a battery pack or charger that has received a sharp blow, been dropped, run over, or damaged in any way (e.g., pierced with a nail, hit with a hammer, stepped on).
Do not disassemble. Incorrect reassembly may result in the risk of electric shock, fire, or exposure to battery chemicals. If it is damaged, take it to a MILWAUKEE service centre.
Battery chemicals cause serious burns. Never allow contact with skin, eyes, or mouth. If a damaged battery leaks battery chemicals, use rubber or neoprene gloves to dispose of it. If the skin is exposed to battery fluids, wash with soap and water and rinse with vinegar. If eyes are exposed to battery chemicals, immediately flush with water for 20 minutes and seek medical attention. Remove and dispose of contaminated clothing.
Do not short circuit. A battery pack will short circuit if a metal object makes a connection between the positive and negative contacts on the battery pack. Do not place the battery pack near anything that may cause a short circuit, such as coins, keys, or nails in your pocket. Do not allow fluids to flow into the battery pack. Corrosive or conductive fluids, such as seawater, certain industrial chemicals, and bleach or bleach containing products, etc., can cause a short circuit. A short-circuited battery pack may cause fire, personal injury, and product damage.
Store the battery pack and charger in a cool, dry place. Do not store the battery pack where temperatures may exceed 50°C, such as in direct sunlight, a vehicle, or metal building during the summer.
The product is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the product by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the product.

BATTERIES
MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
Do not expose the battery pack or cordless tools to water or rain or allow them to get wet. This causes damage to the product and battery pack. Do not use oil or solvents to clean or lubricate your battery. The plastic casing will become brittle and crack, causing a risk of injury.
Store batteries at room temperature away from moisture. Do not store in damp locations where corrosion of terminals may occur. As with other battery types, permanent capacity loss can result if the pack is stored for long periods of time at high temperatures (over 50°C). MILWAUKEE Li-Ion batteries maintain their charge during storage longer than other battery types. After 6 months of storage, charge the battery as normal.
WARNING! To reduce the risk of injury or explosion, never burn or incinerate a battery pack even if it is damaged, dead, or completely discharged. When burned, toxic fumes and materials are created.
ADDITIONAL BATTERY SAFETY WARNINGS
WARNING! To reduce the risk of fire, personal injury, and product damage due to a short circuit, never immerse the product, battery pack, or charger in fluid or allow fluid to flow inside them. Corrosive or conductive fluids, such as seawater, certain industrial chemicals, and bleach or bleach-containing products, etc., can cause a short circuit.
TRANSPORTING LITHIUM BATTERIES
Lithium-ion batteries are subject to the Dangerous Goods Legislation requirements.
Transportation of those batteries has to be done in accordance with local, national, and international provisions and regulations.
Batteries can be transported by road without further requirements.
Commercial transport of lithium-ion batteries by third parties is subject to Dangerous Goods Regulations. Transport preparation and transport are exclusively to be carried out by appropriately trained persons and the process has to be accompanied by corresponding experts.
When transporting batteries:
 Ensure that the battery contact terminals are protected and insulated to prevent short circuit.
 Ensure that the battery pack is secured against movement within the packaging.
 Do not transport batteries that are cracked or leaking.
 Check with the forwarding company for further advice.
DISPOSING OF MILWAUKEE LI-ION BATTERY
MILWAUKEE Li-ion batteries are more environmentally friendly than some other types of power tool batteries. Always dispose of your battery according to federal,

state, and local regulations. Contact a recycling agency in your area for recycling locations. Even discharged batteries contain some energy. Before disposing, use electrical tape to cover the terminals to prevent the battery from shorting, which could cause a fire or explosion.
CHARGER
WARNING! Charge REDLITHIUM USB batteries in the REDLITHIUM USB charger only. Other types of batteries may cause personal injury and damage. How to charge the battery pack 1. Plug the USB cable into a power source, such as
an AC wall adaptor, computer, or car port. 2. Insert the micro-USB into the micro-USB port. 3. Turn the charger cap and remove the cap. 4. Align the battery arrow with the charger arrow and
insert the battery pack completely. 5. Line up the arrows on the cap with the battery pack
holder and turn the cap to lock. 6. The indicator light will display the charging status:  Red solid: Charging, 0-79% charged  Green flashing: Charging, 80-99% charged  Green solid: 100% Charged  Red/green flashing: Damaged or faulty battery
If the light indicator flashes red and green, check that the battery is fully seated into the bay. Remove the battery pack and reinsert it. If the light continues to flash red and green, the battery may be extremely hot or cold, or wet. Allow the battery pack to cool down, warm up, or dry out and then reinsert it. If the problem persists, contact a MILWAUKEE service centre.
FUEL GAUGE
When the charger is unplugged and a battery pack is inserted, push the battery button to illuminate the indicator light. This displays the current battery charge:  Red Flashing: 0-3% remaining  Red Solid: 3-10% remaining  Yellow Solid: 11-49% remaining  Green Solid: 50-100% remaining
WARNING! To reduce the risk of injury, always unplug the charger and remove the battery from the charger before performing any maintenance. The charger and battery have no internal serviceable parts. Never disassemble the battery pack or charger.
MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
Store your charger in a cool, dry place. As a general practice, it is best to unplug battery chargers and remove the batteries when not in use. However, if the charger and battery are left plugged in, no battery damage will occur.

WARNING! To reduce the risk of injury and damage, never immerse the battery pack or charger in liquid or allow a liquid to flow inside them.
CLEANING Clean out dust and debris from charger vents and electrical contacts by blowing with compressed air. Use only mild soap and a damp cloth to clean the battery pack and charger, keeping away from all electrical contacts. Certain cleaning agents and solvents are harmful to plastics and other insulated parts. Some of these include gasoline, turpentine, lacquer thinner, paint thinner, chlorinated cleaning solvents, ammonia, and household detergents containing ammonia. Never use flammable or combustible solvents around batteries, charger, or tools.
USING THE USB A PORT The USB A port can be used to charge a cell phone, or other personal device that is in compliance with the USB standard. To turn on the USB, press the battery button. The USB A port remains on until it fully charges the product before turning off automatically. NOTE: USB A Port (for device charging) is shut down when the battery is charging.

PETUNJUK KESELAMATAN PENTING
Manual ini berisi petunjuk keselamatan dan pengoperasian yang penting untuk pengisi daya USB REDLITHIUM nomor katalog L4 PPS dan baterai nomor katalog L4B2, L4B3.
Hanya gunakan pengisi daya USB REDLITHIUM untuk mengisi daya baterai USB REDLITHIUM. Baterai tipe lain dapat menyebabkan cedera diri dan kerusakan.
Sebelum menggunakan baterai dan pengisi daya, baca manual operator, manual operator alat, serta semua label yang ada pada unit baterai, pengisi daya, dan peralatan.
Gunakan hanya dengan catu daya terdaftar/ bersertifikasi ITE. Catu daya lain dapat menimbulkan risiko kebakaran, sengatan listrik, atau cedera.
Hindari lingkungan berbahaya. Jangan mengisi daya paket baterai di bawah hujan, salju, lokasi yang lembap dan basah. Jangan gunakan baterai atau pengisi daya di atmosfer yang mudah meledak (asap gas, debu, atau bahan yang mudah terbakar) karena percikan api bisa terjadi saat memasukkan atau melepaskan baterai, yang dapat menyebabkan kebakaran.
Isi daya di area yang berventilasi baik. Jangan menghalangi ventilasi pengisi daya. Jaga ventilasi agar tetap bersih agar memungkinkan peredaran udara yang baik. Jangan biarkan orang merokok atau nyala api berada di dekat baterai yang sedang diisi ulang. Gas yang terlepaskan dapat meledak.
Rawat kabel. Saat mencabut pengisi daya, tarik steker bukan kabelnya untuk mengurangi risiko kerusakan pada steker dan kabel listrik. Jangan pernah membawa pengisi daya dengan cara menarik kabelnya. Jauhkan kabel dari panas, minyak, dan ujung yang tajam. Pastikan kabel tidak terinjak, tersandung, atau mengalami kerusakan atau tekanan. Jangan gunakan pengisi daya dengan kabel atau

konektor yang rusak. Minta pengisi daya yang rusak diganti segera.
Hanya gunakan aksesori yang direkomendasikan. Penggunaan alat tambahan yang tidak direkomendasikan atau dijual oleh produsen pengisi daya baterai atau baterai dapat menyebabkan risiko kebakaran, sengatan listrik, atau cedera diri.

Jangan dibongkar. Perakitan ulang yang salah dapat menyebabkan risiko sengatan listrik, kebakaran atau paparan bahan kimia baterai. Jika rusak, bawa ke pusat servis MILWAUKEE.
Bahan kimia baterai menyebabkan luka bakar serius. Jangan biarkan terkena kulit, mata, atau mulut. Jika baterai yang rusak mengalirkan bahan kimia baterai, gunakan sarung tangan karet atau neoprena untuk membuangnya. Jika kulit terkena cairan baterai, cuci dengan sabun dan air, dan bilas dengan cuka. Jika mata terpapar bahan kimia baterai, segera bilas dengan air selama 20 menit dan cari bantuan medis. Lepaskan dan buang pakaian yang terkontaminasi.
Jangan menghubung-singkatkan. Baterai akan mengalami hubungan arus pendek jika ada benda logam yang menyebabkan hubungan antara kontak positif dan negatif pada paket baterai. Jangan letakkan paket baterai di dekat benda yang dapat menyebabkan hubungan arus pendek, seperti koin, kunci atau paku pada saku Anda. Jangan biarkan cairan mengalir ke dalam paket baterai. Cairan korosif atau konduktif, seperti air laut, bahan kimia industri tertentu, dan produk pemutih atau yang mengandung pemutih, dan sebagainya, dapat menyebabkan hubungan arus pendek. Produk ini tidak dimaksudkan untuk digunakan oleh orang (termasuk anak-anak) yang memiliki kemampuan fisik, sensoris atau mental terbatas, atau kurang berpengalaman atau berpengetahuan, kecuali jika mereka diawasi atau telah diberikan petunjuk tentang penggunaan produk ini oleh orang yang bertanggung jawab atas keselamatan mereka. BATERAI
PERAWATAN DAN PENYIMPANAN

PENGISI DAYA

Jika lampu indikator berkedip merah dan hijau, periksa apakah baterai telah diletakkan sepenuhnya pada dudukan. Lepaskan baterai dan masukkan kembali. Jika lampu terus berkedip merah dan hijau, baterai mungkin sangat panas atau dingin, atau basah. Biarkan baterai mendingin, memanas, atau keringkan lalu masukkan kembali. PENGUKUR DAYA
Saat pengisi daya dicabut dan unit baterai dimasukkan, tekan tombol baterai untuk menyalakan lampu indikator. Langkah ini menampilkan daya baterai saat ini:
 Berkedip merah: sisa 0-3%  Merah terang: sisa 3-10%  Kuning pekat: sisa 11-49%  Hijau terang: sisa 50-100%
PERINGATAN! Untuk mengurangi risiko cedera, cabut steker pengisi daya dan lepaskan baterai dari pengisi daya sebelum melakukan perawatan. Pengisi daya dan unit baterai tidak memiliki komponen internal yang dapat diperbaiki. Jangan pernah membongkar baterai atau pengisi daya.
PERAWATAN DAN PENYIMPANAN
Simpan di tempat yang sejuk dan kering.
Sebagai praktik umum, sebaiknya cabut pengisi baterai dan lepaskan baterai saat tidak digunakan. Namun demikian, tidak akan ada kerusakan baterai jika pengisi daya dan baterai dibiarkan terhubung.

PEMBERSIHAN

MENGGUNAKAN PORT USB A
Port USB A dapat digunakan untuk mengisi daya ponsel, atau perangkat pribadi lainnya yang sesuai dengan standar USB. Untuk menyalakan USB, tekan tombol baterai. Port USB A tetap menyala hingga daya produk terisi penuh, kemudian padam secara otomatis.
