Unpacking and Contents
Step 1: Unpacking
Carefully unpack the washing machine. Ensure all accessories and components are present. The diagram shows the main unit and a separate package containing accessories.
Tools shown include a spirit level ?, gloves ?, and wrenches of 10mm and 30mm sizes.
Installation Steps
Step 2: Initial Connections
Connect the water inlet hose and the drain hose to the washing machine. Ensure secure connections.
Diagram shows connecting hoses to the rear of the machine.
Step 3: Securing Brackets
Attach any provided mounting brackets or supports to the rear of the washing machine as indicated in the diagram.
Diagram shows attaching brackets to the back panel of the appliance.
Step 4: Water and Electrical Connections
Connect the water supply hoses to the machine's inlet valve. Ensure electrical connections are made according to local regulations and the user manual.
Diagram illustrates connecting water hoses, possibly showing different types of fittings.
Step 5: Leveling the Machine
Position the washing machine in its final location. Use a spirit level ? to ensure the machine is perfectly level. Adjust the feet as necessary. An uneven machine can cause vibration and noise. The diagram shows a spirit level indicating a correct (level) position and incorrect (tilted) positions with a cross ❌.
Diagram shows adjusting the machine's feet to achieve a level surface.
Step 6: Water Inlet Connection to Tap
Connect the water inlet hose to the water tap. Ensure the connection is secure and watertight. The diagram shows specific connection sizes (3/4" and 1/2") and recommended angles (20°, 45°) for the hose connection. Country-specific connection types are indicated for FI (Finland), SE (Sweden), NO (Norway), and DK (Denmark).
Diagram shows a water tap ? and the hose being connected, with specific size requirements and angle recommendations.
Step 7: Water Inlet Hose Scenarios
The following diagrams illustrate various methods for connecting the water inlet hose:
- 7a: Direct connection to a water tap.
- 7b: Connection to an under-sink plumbing system using a T-piece. A warning ⚠️ is shown for incorrect plumbing connections.
- 7c: Connection with specified hose length requirements: minimum 600 mm, maximum 1000 mm.
- 7d: A diagram showing a correct and secure connection to a water tap.
These diagrams cover different plumbing setups and emphasize correct hose routing and connection types.
Step 8: Overall Water Supply System
The diagram shows the complete water supply setup. Ensure the water pressure is between 0.5 bar (0.05 MPa) and 10 bar (1 MPa). The diagram illustrates the maximum hose length for the water supply (~4000 mm) and the drain hose (min. 600 mm, max. 1000 mm), connecting to a sink.
Diagram depicts the water inlet hose, drain hose, and their connections to the appliance and plumbing, along with pressure and length specifications.
