Know Your CruiseCam X3
This section provides an overview of the components of your Boult CruiseCam X3.
Dashcam Front View: Depicts the dashcam with its lens, speaker and microphone grill, and the BOULT logo.
Dashcam Right Side View: Shows the location of the SD Card Slot and the Rear Camera Connector.
Dashcam Top View: Illustrates the Type-C Charging Port and the 3.7" HD Display.
Dashcam Bottom View: Details the Menu Button, Navigation Button, Power Button, and the Reset Hole.

Installation Steps - Dashcam
- Clean the windshield with a clean, soft cloth to ensure the support bracket adheres firmly.
- Take out the recorder host, insert a formatted SD card, tear off the 3M adhesive from the bracket, and paste the bracket to the appropriate position on the windshield, preferably behind the rearview mirror. Ensure there is enough space above the recorder for easy wiring.
- Connect the car charger to the 12V power socket and then to the dashcam. It is recommended to route the cable as shown in the diagram.

- After installation and starting the car, the recorder will automatically turn on and begin recording. The working indicator light will flash, indicating normal operation.
Note: Use a regular brand of SD card with a reading and writing speed of at least CLASS 10. Format your SD card in the device before first use. The device supports infinite loop recording, but a prompt will appear when the locked video storage is full. When the card is full, delete locked videos or format the SD card. Formatting the SD card every 2-3 months is recommended for optimal performance.
Installation Steps – Rear Camera
- Clean the rear windshield with a clean, soft cloth and apply the electrostatic sticker. Ensure no air bubbles are trapped between the sticker and the glass.
- Peel the protective film from the adhesive sticker on the base of the rear camera mount and paste the rear camera onto the electrostatic sticker.
- Connect ports A and B of the rear camera's signal wire to the main device. Route the wire along the top of the rear windshield, C-pillar, and the top of the side windows to the main device. Plug the Mini USB 8PIN power port into the main device's AV/IN port.

Note: Installation and wiring procedures may vary depending on the vehicle. It is recommended to have a professional installer handle the installation process.
Wi-Fi Instructions
Application Installation
- For iOS devices: Search for "Boult Cruise" on the App Store and download it for free.
- For Android devices: Search for "Boult Cruise" on Google Play and download it for free.
- Alternatively, scan the QR code for quick download. (QR code excluded as per instructions)
To connect:
- Turn on the Wi-Fi function on your mobile phone.
- Search for the Wi-Fi name: CruiseCam-BLTX3XXX
- Enter the password: 12345678
- After a successful Wi-Fi connection, open the "Boult Cruise" app to operate the recorder.
Button Functionality
- Power Button: Short press to start/stop recording. In playback mode, short press to start/pause the file. Long press to power the device on/off.
- Mode Button: Short press to navigate between different modes.
- UP Button: Press and hold to take a picture.
- DOWN Button: Press and hold to preview the style.
- Reset Hole: Press the reset button to power off and restart the hardware.
On-Screen Indicator
The red light on the top left corner of the screen indicates that recording is ongoing. If the red light is not flashing, recording has stopped.
Precautions
- Before installation, remove the protective film from the device lens and ensure the camera and installation location are clean.
- This device uses a special power cord included in the package. Do not use other power cords, as this may damage the device or cause instability.
- When installing in the car, ensure the product is securely fixed. Do not place it outside the driver's sight, near an airbag, or in an area where an airbag might deploy.
- Do not adjust the recorder or watch videos on the mobile phone while driving; prioritize driving safety.
- Do not install the recorder in a position that obstructs the driver's line of sight.
- The suitable operating temperature for this recorder is -10°C to 55°C. Avoid exposing it to overheating environments.
